Microsoft Word Tips and Tricks
Learn how to create and manage folders and files, as well
as, adding and editing an existing document. In addition, participants will learn how to add borders, graphics, tables and charts to enhance their document. Use these new techniques to create professional style documents. If time permits, participants will also learn the basics of mail merge to creating labels. Participants will be taught on Macintosh computers.

Excel Spreadsheet Basics

Packing on Horses or Mules Session #1
Packing into the backcountry with your horses and mules
is a fun and rewarding experience. This 4 week hands on course is geared for beginners and will teach you the skills to feel confident packing for a simple overnight trip or a few weeks in the wilderness. Topics will include: defensive horse handling, all of the ins and outs of packing, and minimum impact horse use. A wide variety of packing equipment will be used during demonstrations and hands on class time to show you the pros and cons of all options. We will get into the details of packing and will cover a vast array of topics including: back braiding your rope, gear selection, forest service requirements, packing in camp for a family fishing trip, and even how to pack out that trophy of a life time. Class sizes are limited so register early

Making an Easy Bag
This bag is made with 6 fat quarters and is lined and has elastic and straps. Oh so fun. It is not quilted and you can finish this in class. If you want to see the bag, please email Glenna at [email protected] and she can send you a picture. The first class will be talking about bags and the materials you will need. You may be able to use up your scraps. If time allows we will make other simple projects or finish projects you started. Come to many or all of the sessions, you choose. This gives you planned time to finish up Christmas gifts with help.

I will bring many ideas and you can select which you would like to do and buy the supplies for them for the second class. Learn the history of the Dutch oven. Have fun learning the basics of cooking with a Dutch oven using charcoal. Learn hands on by cooking a main dish for dinner, a dessert and
a bread/pastry in your own Dutch oven. Experience the difference between Cast Iron Dutch oven and an Aluminum Dutch oven. Whether you just want to Dutch oven cook in your back yard for your family and friends or you want to pack in to “The Bob”. This is the class to have fun and learn the basics of Dutch oven cooking. First class is about the history with a demonstration. You will have two supply costs to be paid at the first class. $45 for food and prep supplies. $75 to $150 depending on what type and size of Dutch oven you would like to purchase. These options will be discussed at first class. All participants will be required to have a camp style Dutch oven by the second class.
