Multi-Faith Women’s Group Starts Up in Whitefish

By Beacon Staff

As a result of several multi-faith services held over the last six months, women representing at least seven different faith groups have expressed interest in organizing a Women’s Spiritual Circle, according to a press release from Ina Albert of Bet Harim Jewish Community of the Flathead Valley.

The group will meet for the first time on Wednesday, April 22 at 7 p.m. in Whitefish. The purpose of the spiritual circle, Albert said, is to reflect on and discuss issues of spirituality and faith in women’s lives. The discussion will represent a broad range of spiritual beliefs and practices and will include anyone who is interested in participating.

“This is our initial meeting and we invite those attending to participate in initiating the form and format that this organization will take,” Albert said. “Everyone is welcome whether they are members of a congregation or not.”

The meeting will be held at 955 Northwoods Dr. in Whitefish. Anyone interested in attending can contact Albert for directions or further information by emailing or calling 863-2333.
