Suit Up

By Beacon Staff

As much as you may not be ready to bare your white stems, swimsuit season is here! Are you still wearing the same one from two years ago? If you are, it is time for a change. If you like a suit you can be active in, go for a one piece suit that has a built in bra for some lift and ruching across the waist. The lift in the chest will make the waist appear longer and slimmer with the ruching.

If sunbathing is more your style, try a wide side bottom and bandeau top. This suit allows for minimal lines and maximum tan. The bandeau top works best for a smaller chest, if you are looking for a little more support go for a halter top. Colors are always a good way to welcome warm weather. Printed one pieces are very flattering as long as the pattern is not too big. Two piece suits are great because you can mix and match colors with prints. The key is to bring attention to an area with pattern, and mute the area you would like to avoid with a solid. Note to self, there is no such thing as the perfect body, but there is such thing as the perfect fit!
