Rehberg State Director Released From Hospital

By Beacon Staff

HELENA – Dustin Frost’s family said that the Montana director for U.S. Rep. Denny Rehberg is being released from a rehab clinic on Friday.

His doctor says Frost may be able to return to work in the months ahead.

Frost was in a coma for about 10 days following a late-night Aug. 27 boat crash, and was the most injured among five people in the boat that crashed high onto the Flathead Lake rocks. Rehberg has returned to work, although he is still recovering from a broken ankle.

Frost’s doctor, Dean Ross, said that Frost has “a very bright prognosis for recovery of high level intellectual functions.”

Frost, who can now independently conduct routine activities like walking, will work with therapists on an outpatient basis.
