MISSOULA –The Montana Highway Patrol says a 33-year-old man was killed when he lost control of his car and crashed into a tree near Seeley Lake.

Trooper Drew Novak says the Seeley Lake man was driving south on Montana 83 when his station wagon drifted into the opposite lane at about 1:45 p.m. Wednesday. The vehicle went airborne after hitting a ramped driveway and crashed into a tree.

Novak says weather was not a factor, and he does not know why the man drifted off the road.
