Republican Congressman Denny Rehberg has scheduled five listening sessions next month to discuss Democratic Sen. Jon Tester’s proposed “Forest Jobs and Recreation Act.” In a press release, Rehberg said:
“Before Congress decides how this land should be managed, it’s important to give a voice to the folks who work, hunt, fish, hike, camp and enjoy this land. That means public meetings with an open mic where anyone can come and ask questions.”
It will be interesting to see whether Rehberg supports Tester’s legislation, which has so far been criticized more by the left than the right.
