MISSOULA – The University of Montana has announced a record spring enrollment of 14,622 students, an increase of 797 students compared to spring 2009.
UM President George Dennison says enrollment from fall to spring fell by only 300 students.
The university also set a spring enrollment record with 12,677.70 full-time equivalent students, which is 5.6 percent more than a year ago. An FTE represents 15 undergraduate or 12 graduate semester credits.
Enrollment jumped by 498 at the main campus and 299 at the College of Technology compared to a year ago.
