Flathead County authorities say a 79-year-old Kalispell man who died after a single-vehicle rollover suffered from a heart condition.

The Montana Highway Patrol says Howard Curtis was in the wrong lane Friday afternoon when he went off the road, apparently to avoid a collision with oncoming traffic. His vehicle hit a large rock and overturned.

Sheriff Mike Meehan says Curtis died of cardiac arrhythmia.
