Good morning; on the Beacon today, Kalispell Regional Medical Center will build a new primary care and imaging clinic in Columbia Falls, with construction scheduled to begin in October and completion expected in December. The number of reported chlamydia cases in Flathead County nearly doubled in July and August, while HIV cases continue to steadily increase, according to officials at the county’s health department. A Hungry Horse man has been sentenced to five years in prison for shooting and injuring a woman. A conservation plan proposed for more than 500,000 acres of state land in Montana calls for increased timber harvests and buffers along streams where logging would be prohibited. The University of Montana will host a symposium that examines the state’s constitution and what it means to hold a constitutional convention.
