One Student Suspended After Assault Returns to School

Glacier High School officials are seeking to expel a 15-year-old boy who is charged with misdemeanor sexual assault for hazing that occurred on the freshman football bus, while another student charged with accountability to the same crime has returned to school.

Kalispell School District Superintendent Darlene Schottle says that the returning student is on a behavior plan.

Schottle says the student facing the more serious charge remains suspended and school officials are recommending he be expelled. The school board is scheduled to discuss the potential expulsion next Monday.

The boy’s father has hired an attorney to get his son back in school.

Four others who were allegedly involved in the Sept. 12 assault have returned to school. All six were kicked off the football team.
