By Beacon Staff

HOT SPRINGS — The Lake County sheriff’s office is investigating a suspicious death at Wild Horse Hot Springs just north of the town of Hot Springs.

Undersheriff Dan Yonkin tells the Missoulian that dispatchers received a 911 call around 9 p.m. Saturday from a man requesting an ambulance for another man, who reportedly fell and hit his head.

Yonkin says 28-year-old Laurence Kenmille of Elmo was taken by ambulance to the hospital in Plains, where he was pronounced dead.

His body was taken to the state crime lab for an autopsy.
