Two Killed, Two Kids Injured in Crash near Browning

GREAT FALLS — The driver of a sport utility vehicle traveling on U.S. Highway 2 near Browning swerved to miss a cow in the road, causing a rolling that killed two adults and injured two children.

The Montana Highway Patrol says the man swerved to avoid hitting a cow at about 10 p.m. Wednesday. He then overcorrected and the vehicle rolled several times. The Great Falls Tribune reports all four occupants were ejected.

A 45-year-old man and a 50-year-old woman from East Glacier Park died. Their names have not been released.

A 13-year-old boy was flown to a Great Falls hospital while an 8-year-old boy was taken to the Indian Health Service in Browning.
