Authorities ID Couple Killed in Browning Crash

By Beacon Staff

GREAT FALLS – Authorities have released the names of an East Glacier couple killed in a rollover crash near Browning apparently caused by a cow in the road.

The Montana Highway Patrol tells the Great Falls Tribune that 45-year-old Casey Singer and 50-year-old Jacqueline Singer died in the crash that also injured their two grandchildren.

Trooper Mike Jensen says the Singers were westbound on U.S. Highway 2 at about 10 p.m. Wednesday when Casey Singer swerved to avoid hitting a cow in the road. He overcorrected, the vehicle rolled and all four occupants were ejected.

Jensen says the couple’s 8-year-old grandson received minor injuries, while a 13-year-old boy was listed in stable condition in a Great Falls hospital over the weekend.
