A Kalispell woman shot multiple times Monday night is in critical condition and her husband was arrested and charged with attempted homicide.
Police responded to a report of a shooting just before 11 p.m. and the caller stated that a woman had been shot by her husband, who had then fled the residence. The woman, whose name is being withheld, was found outside her home with several gunshot wounds and transported to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.
Officers found 39-year-old Steven Michael Foley, of Kalispell, several block away. Following an investigation, Foley was charged with attempted murder.
