Griz Football Signing Day Social Slated for Feb. 4 in Kalispell

The event will introduce the Class of 2015 recruits and welcomes new head football coach Bob Stitt

Wednesday is National Signing Day for high school recruits declaring for college programs across the nation.

Football staff from the University of Montana will be in Kalispell on Feb. 4 to announce the 2015 recruiting class and introduce new head coach, Bob Stitt.

The Flathead Chapter of the Grizzly Scholarship Association is welcoming the 2015 Griz Football Signing Day Social.

The event will take place at the Hilton Garden Inn. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and admission is $10 per person. Light appetizers will be provided and there will be a no-host bar.

UM Director of Athletics Kent Haslam, coach Stitt, and Griz assistant coaches will be on hand. The program also features video highlights of the 2015 Griz football signees.

The staff will announce the recruiting class at a press conference earlier in the day in Missoula.

The Bobcat Football program hosts its annual Signing Day Celebration Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the Stadium Club of Bobcat Stadium.

Montana State head coach Rob Ash will introduce the program’s new recruits at the event, which is free and open to the public. Ash and members of his coaching staff will offer analysis of the newest Bobcats. Refreshments will be provided.

Wednesday is the first day that most players are allowed to make their commitments to college football programs binding.
