SUNDAY 1/4
10:33 a.m. A roll of quarters was stolen out of a vehicle on Spring Creek Drive.
6:10 p.m. Someone reported that a drunken chef “threw a fit” and de- stroyed a kitchen in Bigfork.
MONDAY 1/5
11:22 a.m. A distressed man on Church Drive can’t find his snow blower.
11:56 a.m. Someone called in complain- ing that the driver in front of him stopped to help a stuck driver and was blocking the road.
3:15 p.m. An explosive device that was shoved into the tailpipe of a security truck on Big Mountain Road exploded. No one was injured.
4:30 p.m. A man with long gray hair was cited and trespassed from a casi- no after he was caught gambling with counterfeit money.
5:12 p.m. A man driving down Main Street reported that an aimless wom- an wandered into the mirror of his pickup while he was parked at a red light. He suspects that she was under the influence of something.
7:04 p.m. A Marion woman reported that the man she lives with may have stolen her vehicle and, if he did, he probably drove it to the local bar.
TUESDAY 1/6
11:08 a.m. A resident on Bench Drive complained that a snow plow driver left an impenetrable six foot tall berm in his driveway. Apparently, he broke and axel trying to move it.
12:53 p.m. A man on River Road is missing his snow blower.
1:05 p.m. A Bigfork woman reported that a man was stuck in her driveway and has been shoveling himself out for the past 20 minutes. She asked that a deputy come and ask him to move his vehicle.
2:05 p.m. A West Glacier woman re- ported that the neighbor man inten- tionally blows snow in her direction when she walks her dogs.
2:19 p.m. Reportedly, a drunken man was out harassing a snow plow driver in Kila.
WEDNESDAY 1/7
8:59 a.m. A resident on Helena Flats Court called in to complain about snow removal issues.
11:55 a.m. A retriever and a sheltie ran away from their home on Stillwater Loop and, at the time of the call, had been missing for 30 minutes.
12:16 p.m. Someone who was stuck in the ditch on La Brandt Drive wit- nessed a man in a green hat steal
something from another resident’s
mailbox.
1:26 p.m. The manager of local trailer
park complained that the snow berms at the entrance of the park are danger- ous and make it difficult for residents to leave. A deputy deemed them no less obstructive than any others in the county.
2:30 p.m. A man on Van Sant Road re- ported that a woman stole his Xbox while he was out of town last week.
3:26 p.m. A landlord on Phanco Lane made an unsuccessful attempt to evict a belligerent tenant.
10:23 p.m. A man driving down South Woodland Drive reported that a girl was “dragging her leg” as she walked down the road. He stated that when he stopped to help her, she ran up to his truck and kicked it.
THURSDAY 1/8
12:11 p.m. A Kalispell woman reported that one of her neighbors threatened to run her over.
3:19 p.m. A runaway puppy was picked up and returned to its owner.
3:49 p.m. A heated argument over a cat prompted a call to 911.
4:55 p.m. A resident on Birch Grove Road reported that someone’s ap- paloosa was wandering through her front yard.
7:04 p.m. A Hungry Horse woman reported that her neighbor was out plowing snow and, at the time of the call, had deposited one “ton” of snow into her driveway for every five min- utes of his plowing session.
SUNDAY 1/11
11:46 a.m. A man walking through Hungry Horse reported that an ag- gressive dog was following him. How- ever, he refused to give his location as he had “nothing to do” with the matter at hand. An animal warden tracked down the dog and returned it to its owner.
12:52 p.m. A woman reported that her stolen beads have been located in Browning.
3:30 p.m. A highly agitated Evergreen man complained that a snow plow driver plowed a berm of snow behind his neighbor’s car, blocking him in. The neighbor, who was not nearly as upset, worked out the issue without the help of law enforcement.
5:51 p.m. A woman reported that gun- toting transients were “whoopin’ and hollerin’” down by the river.
5:56 p.m. A Columbia Falls resident called in to talk about dogs.
