MONDAY 1/19
3:04 p.m. A man called in from High- way 93 South after seeing his stolen roof rack on another vehicle.
3:54 p.m. A little black dog with a pink collar was picked up on Cedar Drive and returned to its owner.
6:45 p.m. Someone at a local gas station watched a man take an open can of beer into his truck and drive away.
7:26 p.m. A woman reported that a man wearing a bandana may have thrown something suspicious, like a weapon, into a dumpster. A deputy was unable to recover any weapons.
8:14 p.m. A snow plow driver reported that an angry River Road man con- fronted him about the snow that had been pushed into his yard. After the incident, the man pushed the snow that was in his yard back out into the street.
TUESDAY 1/20
9:58 a.m. Someone was cited for litter- ing after leaving a couple bags of gar- bage and a cardboard box outside the gate at a local dump.
10:57 a.m. A neighborly fight went down on Lake Blaine Road.
12:46 p.m. A Bigfork woman reported that her ex-boyfriend has been writing her bad checks.
1:10 p.m. A Kila man reported that someone stole one of his cabinet doors. He has a suspect in mind.
1:29 p.m. A generator was reported sto- len from a Whitefish Stage location. 1:45 p.m. A St. Bernard mix was picked
up on Highway 82 and taken to the
shelter.
3:39 p.m. A man on Trumble Creek
Road reported that the neighbor’s dogs were on the run again. At the time of the call they were in his field.
12:53 a.m. A woman walking down Baker Avenue in Whitefish reported that a man in a Jetta drove into two posts and nearly ran her over.
WEDNESDAY 1/21
8:53 a.m. A Columbia Falls man woke up to find his vehicle gone. He sus- pects his “twisted ex-girlfriend” has it.
10:21 a.m. Someone reported that he returned to his car after bird hunting to find that it had been damaged by a shotgun blast.
11:35 a.m. A brown dog, two black dogs and a big hound dog were spotted roaming the streets of Hungry Horse.
11:46 a.m. Someone called from a store in Evergreen to report that an unwel- come German shepherd just walked
in the door. The owner showed up and
retrieved his dog.
12:16 p.m. Someone driving down
Highway 2 East reported that the drunken guy in front of him kept slamming his brakes.
12:56 p.m. A large black dog was spot- ted running with traffic on Highway 93 South.
2:34 p.m. A Columbia Falls woman re- ported that someone stole her puppy. She has a suspect in mind.
3:57 p.m. Someone working at the Cres- ton dump reported that an irritated customer called him a “communist.”
THURSDAY 1/22
7:39 a.m. A woman driving through Evergreen reported that a man in a pickup truck pulled up next to her and flipped her off. He then dropped back behind and tailgated her.
8:23 a.m. Someone made a failed at- tempt to break into an Evergreen bank when they rammed their vehicle into the ATM machine.
8:59 a.m. A Dream Sleep delivery truck was reported stolen from Bando Lane. Apparently, the same truck was also involved in the attempted ATM theft earlier this morning.
9:24 a.m. A small pack of loose dogs was seen wandering the streets of Hungry Horse.
9:58 a.m. A Bigfork woman reported that she was scammed by the Publish- er’s Clearing House.
5:19 p.m. A man in a parking lot re- ported that a woman with no rearview mirrors nearly backed in to him three times.
SUNDAY 1/25
9:05 a.m. A Columbia Falls woman re- ported that a dog wearing a harness and several leashes spent the night on her front porch.
12:08 p.m. Someone spotted a suspi- cious situation in which a child was outside and not wearing a coat. A dep- uty found the kid wearing both a coat and a hat.
12:57 p.m. A Lakeside resident report- ed that the neighbor kids have been defacing his property.
7:03 p.m. Parents were called after an underage girl was spotted stealing beer from a gas station in Coram.
7:24 p.m. A local man complained that his ex-girlfriend’s mother has been harassing him.
11:23 p.m. Reportedly, a drunken man at a Martin City bar slapped another man three times.
