WEEKLY BUSINESS BRIEFING
LOCAL REALTORS LAUNCH DIGITAL REFERRAL CATALOG
Recognizing the need to con- nect homeowners and realtors with trusted home service providers, two local realtors have launched a digital referral catalog.
Flathead Home Services is a free trusted referral source of home ser- vice professionals that was recently created by Melinda Morton and Chris Fraser, of Keller Williams Realty Northwest Montana.
The company o ers an array of
pre-screened service providers to refer out, with areas of specialty run- ning the gamut – window washing, house or pet sitting, yard clean-up, remodels, handyman services, new builds, ooring, home inspections, mortgage lending, insurance services, and more.
Similar to other referral sites like Home Advisor and Angie’s List, Morton stressed that Flathead Home Services is hyper-local – “kind of like a friend who highly recommends someone to you.”
“We have done the homework for you and feel con dent that the ser- vice professionals in our network are reliable, capable, trustworthy,” according to a press release.
For more about the services visit www. atheadhomeservices.com or download the mobile app at the app store or with Google play.

Mick Blodnick, CEO of Glacier Bank. JUSTIN FRANZ | FLATHEAD BEACON
“The growth is continuing with that same approach,” Chesler said.
But the future holds other opportu- nities for Glacier, such as keeping up with technology. Chesler’s background includes extensive banking technol- ogy experience, and he believes Glacier Bank will be able to maintain its small- town feel while also keeping up with modern times.
“From older folks to younger, there’s a wide variety of ways people use tech- nology,” Chesler said.
As he transitions out of the CEO chair, Blodnick said he will maintain a
presence at the bank, but he’s con dent in Chesler’s leadership. Blodnick said he’s looking forward to spending more time with his wife, Kim, in retirement.
And if the recession taught him any- thing, it’s that there will always be chal- lenges lingering in the future. That’s why the search for a new CEO was thorough, he said, and why the transi- tion period will further cement Chesler into the position.
“I have absolutely no doubts that he’s going to continue captaining this ship forward,” Blodnick said.
