Roller Derby

The members of the Flathead Valley Roller Derby team are putting on their skates for a bout against the Avalanche City Roller Girls from Fernie, British Columbia on March 21 at the fairgrounds. The FVRD is quickly approaching the end of their roller derby season while the Avalanche from Fernie are just starting theirs, so it is sure to be a good bout. The Flathead team will be competing in a tournament in Billings next month and another bout in Butte in May, so this may be one of the last chances to see the team this season in Kalispell.
Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door. Kids under 12 are free. Tickets can be purchased at Wheaton’s or from FVRD participants. Doors open at the Flathead County Fairgrounds in Kalispell at 6 p.m. and the bout starts at 7 p.m.
