SUNDAY 3/29
9:34 a.m. A man on Badrock Drive found evidence of explosive matter on the post that once held a viable mail- box.
12:03 p.m. A husky and its small ter- rier companion were spotted crossing Highway 2 West.
12:29 p.m. Someone called in from the Somers area to complain about two aggressive men on “ninja bikes.” They were not wearing helmets.
9:28 p.m. A woman called 911 from Harmony Road to report that the drunken man who stole her phone suggested that she “call the cops.”
MONDAY 3/30
7:57 a.m. Someone alerted emergency responders that a Shetland pony was standing on the side of Highway 2 West.
9:50 a.m. A woman on Whalebone Drive reported that a mechanic stole the stereo system out of her car.
10:06 a.m. Someone in Kalispell found someone’s W2, an iPod, and seeds of some sort in their drop box.
1:32 p.m. A county inmate fell off of his chair yesterday.
3:49 p.m. A lost and lonely beagle was rescued from its aimless journey down Highway 93 South.
4:45 p.m. A new transient camp was discovered behind the old Walmart. 5:08 p.m. A resident on Ezy Drive re-
ported that a few of her chickens have gone missing. She suspects that the neighbor’s dog may be involved.
9:37 p.m. A local man called 911 to re- port that a man who looked like he “had been on meth for thirty years” approached him and his girlfriend at a gas station and made a very uncom- fortable proposition.
10:01 p.m. A resident on Ridgewood Drive in Whitefish reported that his roommate found a “husky” man in their laundry room.
TUESDAY 3/31
8:44 a.m. Three cows were loose on Creston Road.
10:41 a.m. A man in baggy sweat pants was spotted stealing tools from a Co- lumbia Falls store.
12:22 p.m. A local woman called in to talk about her dog.
3:36 p.m. A Kalispell resident com- plained that the neighbor man has been building speed bumps on their shared driveway since this past win- ter. Apparently, these bumps are treacherous and difficult to maneuver.
8:12 p.m. A woman on Elk Trail report- ed that a dog pack has formed in her neighborhood and, at the time of the
call, a number of them were gathered
in her front yard.
9:45 p.m. Someone reported that a
highly intoxicated man wearing a headlamp was swerving down High- way 93 East on his bicycle. Another driver called in about the same man after nearly hitting him.
2:52 a.m. Someone on Montclair Drive reported that two people, probably men, were out back rooting through piles of junk
WEDNESDAY 4/1
7:54 a.m. A complaint was made about a “big, ugly” motorhome hiding be- tween two buildings on Highway 35 in Kalispell.
8:57 a.m. There was talk of possible alien invasion on Anderson Lane.
10:40 a.m. A resident on Helena Flats Road found a fluorescent green hang glider tied to a fence post in his field. Apparently, it had been there for a few days.
2:10 p.m. A pit bull was chasing cars down Buccaneer Lane.
3:55 p.m. An old cedar plow type object was stolen out of a yard on Solberg Drive.
6:52 a.m. A complaint was made about two reckless teenagers driving through Whitefish in a maroon Fire- bird.
THURSDAY 4/2
9:20 a.m. A man who stole a package of fishing hooks successful evaded capture and was last seen fleeing the scene in his a BMW. He was later tracked down and cited for the theft.
10:02 a.m. A complaint was made about free range chickens infiltrating pri- vate property on Ezy Drive.
2:33 p.m. A Kalspell woman called 911 claiming that a winged creature was caught in her chimney.
4:15 p.m. A Lakeside man reported that he has received numerous texts about a party he is throwing. He is not throwing a party and worries that people will break into his business to get to this alleged party.
5:25 p.m. A small dachshund was spot- ted on Gunsite Loop.
6:33 p.m. A woman on Antelope Tri- al reported that the neighbor kids chucked an avocado at her old green van.
10:37 p.m. A Columbia Falls resident is missing two jars of change.
11:51 p.m. A Columbia Falls man re- ported that his girlfriend was outside throwing rocks through his garage window. She had already disappeared in to the woods by the time the call was made.
