Montana U.S. Sen. Steve Daines after the Senate voted to permanently reauthorize the Land and Water Conservation Fund. The fund was established in 1965 as a conservation tool for public land management and recreation. Since its creation, Montana has received roughly $540 million in LWCF funding.
