Due to time constraints, organiz- ers say there will not be any autographs allowed.
Among the stars to participate will be Rice, a former 49er who is widely con- sidered the greatest wide receiver ever and one of the all-time greatest players. Also in attendance will be Dwight Clark, another former 49er wide receiver whose famous catch propelled San Francisco to its rst Super Bowl championship in 1982, and Roger Craig, a former running back who played for three 49er champi- onship teams. Rounding out the group of NFL celebrities will be Chase Reynolds, a former standout running back at the Uni- versity of Montana who plays for the Los Angeles Rams.

Flathead Valley Rugby Team Wins State Title
The Flathead Valley Black and Blue rugby team claimed the state champion- ship in Missoula last weekend.
The team, made up of local high school players, defeated the Missoula Mud Dogs 19-12 in the title match of the Montana Youth Rugby Association State Tournament.
The Black and Blue nished the sea- son 8-0-1 by winning its rst champi- onship since 2012. Payton Boyce scored three times for the local squad, earning Man of the Match honors.
Dunfee Named Flathead Boys, Girls Golf Coach
Kyle Dunfee was selected as the new head coach of the boys and girls golf teams at Flathead High School.
Dunfee replaces Jess Roper, who
stepped down recently after four seasons as head coach.
“Kyle is extremely passionate about golf and working with Flathead students. He has a strong desire to lead the Flat- head Golf Program forward,” Flathead Activities Director Bryce Wilson said. “He outlined his vision during the inter- view and provided a comprehensive plan on how he would like to bring the pro- gram to consistently compete in the top ve AA programs year in and year out. He has seen the e ects of positive cul- ture and climate in a sports program and is excited to bring this synergy to the Golf program.”
A selection committee tabbed Dunfee out of three candidates who were inter- viewed, Wilson said. Dunfee will be rec- ommended to the school board for an o - cial hire.
A Kalispell native, Dunfee graduated from Flathead in 2006. He played on the golf team for four years and quali ed for the Class AA state tournament twice. He said his goal is to restore Flathead’s tra- dition as a dominant program, similar to what it was in the late 1990s.
“I have a burning desire to get the pro- gram back to the top level of AA,” Dunfee said.
He said he plans to work with junior programs to help build a solid foundation that aids the high school level.
Dunfee is a physical education teacher at Peterson.
Pistorese Sent to Mariners’ Minor- League A liate in Iowa
Joe’s journey continues through the minorleagues.
Joe Pistorese, a left-handed pitcher from Kalispell, was sent to the Clinton LumberKings, a Class A minor-league a liate of the Seattle Mariners in Clin- ton, Iowa. Pistorese was designated June 1 from extended spring training to Iowa.
The 23-year-old former Flathead High standout is currently inactive and is returning from a suspension from last season.
The LumberKings are a Midwest League team with a long list of notable alumni, including World Series MVP and Cy Young Award Winner Orel Hershiser.
The LumberKings, whose season began in April, are 31-27 and in third place in the Western division.
Pistorese was selected by the Seattle Mariners in the 17th-round of last year’s MLB draft and went 6-0 with a 1.28 ERA at Class A Everett before being suspended 50 games for a positive drug test. Pis- torese has said the failed test was a mis- understanding and the result of taking a prescribed drug to treat an attention disorder.
