7:46 a.m. A Columbia Falls resident found what might have been a “ re- work device,” but looked more like
a grenade. He was hoping a deputy would check it out. A deputy deter- mined that the device was actually an exploded rework.
8:45 a.m. Reportedly, it looked as though someone hid a busted-up ma- roon truck under a tarp in Somers. Ap- parently, there was also a bike nearby. It was probably stolen.
11:50 a.m. A black Lab puppy was at large in Martin City again.
12:13 p.m. Someone called from the Lone Pine Trail after witnessing a man with a pistol holstered on his hip say “here I am, ready to kill people.” He was later heard discussing re- arm-related bear safety with another man.
12:15 p.m. A Coram resident reported that the neighbor man cut two trees down and then moved a boulder from his yard into his own.
12:21 p.m. Two small dogs were parked in a handicapped spot at a business along Highway 2 East in Kalispell.
12:43 p.m. Someone reported that an armed Marion man was waving gar- bage can lids and yelling at drivers on Idaho Hill Road to slow down.
4:19 p.m. An uncatchable dog was loose on Cheery Lynn Lane.
4:23 p.m. An Evergreen resident called in to discuss rumors she heard from another woman.
7:59 p.m. Someone called from Colum- bia Falls reporting that another man accused him of driving too fast.
8:27 p.m. A Columbia Falls woman re- ported that the neighbor woman ha- bitually vandalizes her tomato plants at night.
9:07 p.m. A Somers resident com- plained that the neighbor routinely dumps pig urine out onto his property.
11:12 p.m. A woman on Aero Lane in Bigfork reported that all the neigh- bors were outside shooting guns into the air in an e ort to scare o a grizzly and her two cubs. She worried that the bears or people might get shot.
TUESDAY 6/28
6:19 a.m. A resident on Sweebee Lane reported that two dogs were standing in his front yard.
7:18 a.m. Someone called 911 after wit- nessing two long-haired, white dogs walking together down Drake Road.

10:30 a.m. A Martin City resident re- ported that someone’s dogs were on her front porch.
4:58 p.m. The neighborhood dogs were at large on Blacktail Road in Lakeside.
6:28 p.m. A dog-related custody issue may be going to court.
7:37 p.m. A Hungry Horse resident complained that the neighbors were outside “raising hell.”

7:47 a.m. A resident on Ho man Draw reported that someone’s friendly pit bull was in her yard.
7:57 a.m. Someone called while sitting next to a lost and injured pit bull they found wandering along Highway 93 South.
10:51 a.m. Someone on Patrick Creek Road found a bandage, a cigarette butt, and a Lysol wipe on the side of the road. A deputy determined that these items did not indicate that a crime had occurred.
11:03 a.m. Someone in Marion report- ed that a free-range Labrador habitu- ally defecates in neighborhood yards and startles the local children.
11:12 a.m. A Columbia Falls woman reported that the intoxicated neighbor woman nearly ran into her fence last night. She also complained that the county wants her to spray her weeds.
11:13 a.m. Someone called in regarding the recent mistreatment of a dog.
1:20 p.m. A Kalispell woman reported that someone stole her wallet out of her purse while it was at home.
1:53 p.m. A Kalispell man reported that the woman renting the house next to him has been taking video footage of his daily activities at home.
2:27 p.m. A Canyon Trail resident re- ported that a husky with a history of deer chasing and fawn killing was out wandering through the neighborhood.
6:13 p.m. A Tall Pine Ridge resident reported that the bees from the neigh- bor’s 60 new bee hives were swarming in the area.
7:32 p.m. A local woman reported that her daughter’s iPhone had been stolen from a local business’ bathroom and, at the time of the call, was “traveling” down Highway 2 West toward Kalis- pell.
7:56 p.m. A Coram resident found a dead dog on his doorstep.
