Genesis Whitefish Cen- ter, a 100-bed skilled nursing facility, is tucked into a beautiful corner of the resort community of Whitefish in the Rocky Moun- tains of Northwest Montana. The facility offers skilled nurs- ing and rehabilitation therapy to adults of all ages who need short- or long-term care. In addition to a range of post- acute care, re- habilitation

programs that
include field trips, transpor- tation to local businesses and special events. A fenced yard with walking paths permits residents to take in the scenic views of the area, and a shel- tered patio provides residents and their guests a place to re- lax.
As a caring bridge between hospital and home, our Short- Stay Services provide our pa- tients with excellent care in a warm, family-oriented envi- ronment. Speeding recovery and returning our patients home as quickly as possible are our primary goals, with the Center’s clinical care team supporting patients and their families during their stay.
At Genesis, we offer numer- ous care options that com- bine rehabilitation therapy and skilled nursing care but
are tailored to each patient’s unique needs. At the foun- dation of each of our service offerings is Rehabilitation Therapy which utilizes occu- pational, physical and speech therapy as part of the overall care plan to get patients home as quickly as possible. Spe- cialized training enables our therapists to provide care to patients with complex diag-
noses, helping them to over- come deficits that result from illness, disease, dis- ability, injury, surgery or the aging process.
We rec- ognize that patients, maybe your loved one, deserve quality care and support for both medical and social needs at this stage of life. LongTerm Care at Gen- esis provides 24-hour medi- cal and support services for elderly residents and people with a chronic condition or a prolonged illness. Our staff is devoted to the creation of a comforting environment, and focused on helping each person to achieve the high- est level of independence and
quality of life.
