 Flathead CARE is hosting its sixth annual Glacier Rally in the Rockies car show in downtown Kalispell July 18-19. Festivities kick off Friday evening with a show and shine at Kalispell’s Dairy Queen from 6-8 p.m., followed by a cruise up and down Main Street at 8 p.m. Classic cars and motorcycles will parade through downtown Saturday at 10 a.m., starting from Eighth Street West and traveling north along Main Street. Ve- hicles will be on display on First Avenue West, between Center Street and Third Street West, after the parade. An “Amer- ican Graffiti” diner-themed dinner, fea- turing live music by Fresh Ink, will take place Saturday evening at the Red Lion Hotel. Tickets cost $25.
Registration costs $50 per vehicle. Proceeds from the event will benefit Flathead CARE, a local youth drug, alco- hol & tobacco prevention organization. For more information visit www.flat- headcare.org.
