SUNDAY 7/17
8:29 a.m. One decorative wooden bear was stolen from the stoop of a Bigfork business sometime during the night.
10:42 a.m. A Texan Chihuahua that goes by the name “Amigo” was spotted today in the Columbia Falls area. It was captured and is currently at the county animal shelter.
11:10 a.m. Several people were trying to capture a dog on Mountain Shadow Drive.
12:38 p.m. A 9-pound terrier went missing after getting roughed up by another dog in Bigfork.
3:36 p.m. Someone didn’t like the looks of a “grungy” guy they saw walking down Rogers Road.
MONDAY 7/18
7:07 a.m. There was talk of tree poach- ing along the North Fork Road.
12:48 p.m. A complaint was made about the driver of a white Honda who was erratically swerving down Spring Creek Drive and ipping o other drivers.
1:06 p.m. A woman was seen speeding through the Columbia Falls area with one leg dangling out the driver’s side window of her Acura. She also ipped o other drivers.
1:12 p.m. A runaway Chihuahua was captured in Bigfork and taken to the animal shelter.
6:01 p.m. Reportedly, the driver of a rusted maroon car was driving poorly down Highway 35 in Creston.
WEDNESDAY 7/20
9:14 a.m. A woman watched through her rearview mirror as a man on a bike talked to a young boy in Evergreen. She said she looked away for a min- ute and when she looked back the two were gone. A deputy found the man and determined that nothing criminal or suspicious had taken place.
9:47 a.m. A man was seen relieving himself on Mill Street. A deputy coun- seled the man regarding his behavior.
9:50 a.m. A property manager com- plained that a non-compliant tenant’s garbage problem was attracting skunks.
10:58 a.m. A woman on Helena Flats Road reported that she has a bat prob- lem. At the time of the call, one was in
her washing machine.
6:41 p.m. A local woman reported that
two men were drinking excessive amounts of alcohol. However, she did not know her own location and was unable to describe where the men were.
8:47 p.m. Someone called in with con- cerns that three drunken men in a canoe were going to drive home after their o shore adventure.
THURSDAY 7/21
9:18 a.m. A man who appeared bruised and disoriented was seen walking down Truman Creek Road.
10:49 a.m. Two carts were found dam- aged at a Bigfork golf course.
11:18 a.m. A woman called in to report that a “bum” scared her while she was shing yesterday. Apparently, the man asked about shing then went on to ask if he could have a cigarette and some money. She stated that she threw a bottle of water at him and then left in her vehicle.
1:40 p.m. A Columbia Falls resident re- ported that someone stole the moose skull and antlers out of his rock gar- den last month.
2:27 p.m. A Hungry Horse man re- ported that a neighborhood stray is constantly in his yard leaving dog de- posits.
2:31 p.m. A Lakeside man reported that his neighbor was on his property de- stroying things with a shovel.
4:51 p.m. A customer reported that someone’s runaway pit bull was wan- dering up and down the aisles of store along Highway 2 in Kalispell.
5:56 p.m. A Somers man reported that his neighbor built a berm across his driveway.
7:02 p.m. A local man reported that his ex stole an iPod and “personal writ- ings” out of his vehicle.
7:26 p.m. A resident on Highway 2 West in Kalispell claimed that a whole “gag- gle” of cats and their babies have in l- trated his property.
9:48 p.m. A Kalispell woman reported that the neighbor boys have been in their yard throwing each other up into the air and engaging in other “wild” activities. She worries about their penchant for illegal activity.
