7:42 a.m. A resident on Blanchard Lake Road woke up to  nd a herd of horses standing in his yard.
8:23 a.m. A Stoneridge Drive resident reported that their driveway and car had been pelted by eggs and diapers.
2:31 p.m. A missing cow was found in  eld o  of Highway 2 West.
3:43 p.m. Someone reported that three ATVs carrying nine drunken men were traveling recklessly down the sidewalk along Highway 2 East.
3:58 p.m. Two dogs in Martin City bark all the time.
5:32 p.m. Reportedly, someone who might be a drug dealer has been using a local casino as his personal o ce.
6:42 p.m. A gas stove has gone miss- ing from a vacant house on Columbia Mountain Road.
7:24 p.m. An employee of a local busi- ness reported that a man wearing shorts and a fanny pack attempted, but failed to steal $1,000 worth of merchandise.
MONDAY 8/8
7:26 a.m. A resident on Anderson Lane reported that three people were out- side loitering in the neighborhood. Ap- parently, they were having car trouble.
8:26 a.m. A beagle on Foothill Road barked.
12:11 p.m. A local woman reported that someone cut down a tree in order to steal the bike she had chained to it. 3:56 p.m. A  st  ght broke out in front of a health food store in Evergreen.
4:38 p.m. A Marion resident reported that a trespassing kid rode a motor- cycle across his property. He hoped a deputy would drive out and talk to the kid about his behavior.
10:17 p.m. An intoxicated man was seen driving through the Columbia Falls area.
TUESDAY 8/9
6:44 a.m. Someone smelled something “horrible” in Hungry Horse.
6:54 a.m. An aimless white horse was seen running in and out of tra c on Emerald Drive.
12:01 p.m. A Lakeside resident reported that two dogs were running in tra c. One was captured, but the other more skittish one is still at large.
12:09 p.m. A Middle Road resident re- ported that someone stole her black, barn-shaped mailbox last night.
1:53 p.m. A Lakeside resident reported that someone broke into her home and poured cooking oil onto her dishes. On another occasion she came home to
 nd several broken dishes.
5:41 p.m. Someone found a spoon with
some sort of residue on it in the ditch along West Cottonwood Drive.
WEDNESDAY 8/10
7:41 a.m. The manager of a local bank reported that someone sawed a hole through the ceiling last night. It was unknown at that time if anyone had jumped through the hole or if any- thing had been stolen.
11:38 a.m. A little brown puppy has gone missing from its home in Lake- side.
12:29 p.m. A Marion resident believes that the neighbor stole her dog. Either that, or the dog wandered o .
2:17 p.m. A man called from Parks Av- enue to report that his roommate was yelling and throwing his things out.
3:21 p.m. An employee of a local restau- rant reported that four people left without paying their $60 bill.
6:26 p.m. A man on Dillon Road is missing some hay.
8:31 p.m. A Bigfork resident reported that one of the several drunken kids hanging around the park o  Holt Stage drove their truck into the ditch.
THURSDAY 8/11
8 a.m. A woman on Middle Road re- ported that whoever stole her black, barn-shaped mailbox returned it.
10:22 a.m. A black and white dog on Klondyke Loop barks day and night.
10:38 a.m. A local woman reported that a county inmate is claiming to be her  ancé.
11:04 a.m. A Lakeside resident report- ed that someone claiming to be from the “Mexican Ma a” was on the other line, stating that they had kidnapped his daughter and wanted all of his money. He said that he was aware that this was a scam and his daughter was  ne.
11:23 a.m. The driver of a Suburban and its drunken occupants were seen tossing their beer cans out onto Shady Lane.
1:22 p.m. A local man wondered if any- one had found the missing boat cover he lost back in June.
1:39 p.m. Someone on Holt Stage re- ported that two men in a brown pick- up pulled up and stole her daughter’s lemonade stand.
10:31 p.m. A Dogwood Lane resident reported that the neighbor man has been outside all night making a rack- et with sledgehammers, grinders and other tools.
