SUNDAY 8/21
8:47 a.m. A resident on Grande Vista Drive reported that a large desert tortoise was outside in his front yard. Someone successfully captured the tortoise and reunited it with its owner.
9:07 a.m. A Bigfork resident reported that his adult brother was in the other room yelling at him.
9:08 a.m. Two erratic dogs were seen herding horses down Star re Court. 9:34 a.m. A Shady Lane man claimed
that his friend pretty much stole his
car last night.
9:51 a.m. A Hungry Horse resident who
was trying to do yard work reported that the drunken neighbor was outside harassing him.
11:24 a.m. A wayward beagle found himself behind bars after a misguided jaunt through White sh.
1:07 p.m. A friendly blue heeler visited a resident on Harmony Drive.
2:53 p.m. A man on Majestic View Lane reported that the neighbor man has been throwing rocks at him.
3:13 p.m. A resident of a local trailer park reported that someone, probably a neighbor, destroyed her new brass wind chimes.
7:18 p.m. Two runaway goats, one wearing barbed wire around its neck, were captured on Riverside Drive and returned to their owner on White sh Stage.
8:27 p.m. A Columbia Falls resident reported that the neighbors habitually ignore his “No Trespassing” signs and stray across the property line.
9:24 p.m. A local man reported that the neighbor man shot him in the arm with a pellet gun.
10:30 p.m. A Canyon resident reported that a neighbor man stole his license plates. He also added that this same man attacked him with an axe and a hammer earlier that evening.
MONDAY 8/22
9:33 a.m. Money, medication, and several wrenches were stolen from a motor home on Concord Lane.
10:07 a.m. A pump at a gas station on Highway 35 in Kalispell was damaged after someone drove o  with the nozzle still attached.
10:54 a.m. A Labrador was seen jumping fences and visiting the backyards of several residents on Eighth Avenue East in Kalispell.
5:17 p.m. A weird man was seen standing in a  eld o  of Spring Prairie Ranch Road near White sh.
1:12 a.m. A Haven Drive resident reported that a skunk was scurrying about his living room.
TUESDAY 8/23
10:19 a.m. Someone stole a du el bag containing  shing waders and poles from a vehicle parked at the Moccasin Creek  shing access.
10:34 a.m. A naked teenage boy was seen standing in the front yard of a home on Park Drive. Apparently this was a prank he was trying to pull on his younger brother.
1:18 p.m. A row of mailboxes were damaged by an unidenti ed force on George Lane in Columbia Falls.
2:22 p.m. Someone saw a man in a heels and a leopard print dress emerge out of the woods near Columbia Falls. The caller was advised that this was not illegal.
3:52 p.m. A fuzzy breed of terrier was spotted in Martin City.
6:05 p.m. Someone reported that a drunken man was sipping wine out of a glass while driving down Highway 35 in a Mercedes convertible.
WEDNESDAY 8/24
11:06 a.m. Someone in Martin City reported that a happy, although somewhat intrusive, pit bull jumped into the front seat of her vehicle.
11:29 a.m. An employee of a business on West Reserve Drive reported that he found several counterfeit bills in the trashcan.
12:10 p.m. Three roosters were spotted in a local gravel pit.
3:13 p.m. A woman on Grandale Drive reported that a large man habitually stands behind the trees outside her home and watches her daughters.
5:56 p.m. Someone called in to talk about free range chickens that have in ltrated several yards in the Columbia Falls area.
THURSDAY 8/25
8:25 a.m. An employee of a local business reported that someone recently stole a veggie tray and some lemonade. The employee has a suspect in mind.
12:28 p.m. A local man reported that he and his friends were threatened and assaulted when they took a wrong turn onto some private property o  of Foothill Road. Apparently, the men were barricaded in by other men in vehicles and pepper sprayed. No one needed medical assistance.
5:42 p.m. An employee of an Evergreen business reported that a tall, skinny man shoved a pair of shoes down his pants and walked out the front door.
10:03 p.m. Reportedly, “all hell broke loose” on Cattail Drive near White sh.
