Volunteer Fire Department. The cookout is sponsored by First Interstate Bank and all of the funds go toward the those who protect the community. Meal tickets are $5 for children, $10 for adults and $25 for a family of four. This year, a “Niner-Niner” golf tournament is also being held before the barbecue. QPR stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer - the 3 simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide.
As a QPR-trained Gatekeeper you will learn to:
• Recognize the warning signs of suicide • Know how to offer hope
• Know how to help and save a life
MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID CLASS
Sept. 16th, 8:30am - 4:30pm FREE
Mental Health First Aid is an in-person training that teaches you how to help people developing a mental illness or in a crisis.
Classes are being held at the Flathead City-County Health Department and Pre Registration is required.
