SUNDAY 9/18
8:31 a.m. A bear destroyed a chicken coop on Kuzmic Lane in Coram. Now seven of the original 11 chickens have gone missing.
9:15 a.m. A Hungry Horse resident re- ported that someone spray-painted o ensive things on the windshield of his vehicle.
9:59 a.m. A Columbia Falls resident reported that the neighbor’s dogs are constantly on her property, sni ng around the chickens.
10:06 a.m. A woman on Trumble Creek Road claimed that a cow was standing across the street from her house.
10:20 a.m. Someone called in to com- plain about a political sign that was posted on private property in Lake- side. Apparently, the homemade sign contained a chauvinistic slogan.
4:14 p.m. A Hungry Horse woman re- ported that her neighborhood has been harassing her via e-mail.
9:17 p.m. Reportedly, it’s “camp re time” on Shady Lane and everyone in at least one trailer there was intoxi- cated.
MONDAY 9/19
11:52 a.m. Someone called 911 after spotting two runaway dogs on Derns Road.
12:29 p.m. A Kalispell woman called in to talk about birds.
1:43 p.m. A resident on Bernard Road reported that someone broke into his truck last night and stole a phone, sev- eral CDs and half a bottle of prescrip- tion narcotics.
5:40 p.m. A Harmony Road resident reported that his neighbor had some- thing plugged into his electrical out- let.
7:20 p.m. A woman on Highway 35 in Kalispell reported that the neighbors were banging on the walls of their apartment building and yelling at their kids.
10:12 p.m. An employee of a local gas station claimed that a deer was out wandering through tra c.
TUESDAY 9/20
9:20 p.m. More complaints were made about the political sign near Lakeside.
7:29 a.m. A woman on Lenwood Lane reported that she found her clothes and belongings strung about the
yard and in her driveway her car was smeared with blood and bloody hand- prints. Also, in her yard, she found a backpack containing a large sandwich and pornography.
10:42 a.m. An employee of a local gas station reported that someone stole
$15.96 worth of air fresheners. 3:07 p.m. A camper in Hungry Horse
was spray painted at some point
during the night.
5:33 p.m. A woman on Magstadt Lane
reported that she has found several fraudulent checks in her mailbox and has recently received several harass- ing e-mails and text messages.
WEDNESDAY 9/21
7:43 a.m. A resident on Deer Lane re- ported that the neighbor’s dog was on her property and left behind several dog droppings.
1:29 p.m. A woman on Clark Drive heard her Jack Russell terrier cry- ing and found that it had somehow crawled in and lodged itself in an un- derground pipe. To the relief of the small animal and its owner, the dog was dislodged and extracted without incident.
2:19 p.m. A resident on Parkline Drive called in to talk about the neighbor’s dog.
11:06 p.m. A woman reported that someone broke into her house and took only her cell phone. She also feels that a local bar has been over-serving customers.
THURSDAY 9/22
7:14 a.m. The owner of a fur trading business found a dead bear in his parking lot.
8:53 a.m. Someone reported that a dog was “attempting” to eat road kill along Highway 2 West.
10:12 a.m. A local woman found two big dogs on Conrad Drive. She was able
to catch one, but the other remains at large.
10:34 a.m. A Kalispell woman report- ed that the neighbor woman has the wrong idea about her.
11:35 a.m. A Kila resident successfully captured and detained the neighbor’s dog.
11:42 a.m. A local person has received several “lewd, rude, and disrespect- ful” text messages.
5:03 p.m. A dog-related dispute went down between Kalispell residents on Highway 35.
6:47 p.m. An employee of a local casino called in with concerns regarding a man “with snot all over his face” and some other “weirdos” who were hang- ing out in the business.
8:11 p.m. A local man reported that a woman, who he claims to not know, left several things at his house three years ago and now is claiming that she wants her things back.
