SUNDAY 9/20
9:26 a.m. A small Chevy pickup occu- pied by two men was seen swerving down Highway 93 South in Kalispell.
9:32 a.m. A dog was caught stealing chickens from the neighbor’s house.
12:37 p.m. A woman on East Evergreen Drive reported that someone broke into her vehicle and stole her inhaler from the glove box.
1:32 p.m. Someone at a Columbia Falls gas station caught a live bat and tossed it into a bucket.
3:28 p.m. A man on Harmony Court re- ported that his vehicle had been ran- sacked, but nothing had been taken.
5:51 p.m. A Willow Glen Drive resident complained that the neighbor’s yorkie trekked across the street and came into his yard again. At the time of the call, he had captured the small dog and tied it up in his yard.
7:50 p.m. Reportedly, a young girl was yelling for her mother from the top of a 60-foot tall tree on Dawn Drive in Kalispell.
7:55 p.m. Twelve mailboxes have gone missing from their posts on Rufenach Lane.
MONDAY 9/21
7:48 a.m. A large labradoodle was picked up on Whitefish Stage and re- turned to its owner.
9:31 a.m. Someone on Solberg Drive called in to discuss the presence of an “odd looking” man who, as of recently, has been frequenting the neighbor- hood.
10:31 a.m. A West Glacier resident found hypodermic needles in a trash can that had been knocked over by a bear.
1:06 p.m. A resident on Beaver Lake Road reported that a man in combat boots walked in through her front door and when she confronted him, he said “sorry, I didn’t know anyone was home.” Apparently, he wanted to use her phone.
1:46 p.m. A resident on Highway 35 in Kalispell reported that the neighbor has six dogs that bark constantly.
3:29 p.m. A local man reported that he had recently been injured after he was “pistol whipped” by another man.
7:43 p.m. A Kalispell man claimed
that a man who identified himself as a bounty hunter has sent him numerous text messages, asking for his personal information.
TUESDAY 9/22
10:01 a.m. A Columbia Falls man re- ported that an acquaintance of his was threatening to jack hammer his sidewalk.
11:36 a.m. A stray black Lab and a gold- en retriever were sniffing around in the yard of a chicken-owning Cheery Lynn Drive resident.
12:53 p.m. Someone on Maple Drive watched a man toss a bicycle into the creek.
3:24 p.m. A Hungry Horse resident re- ported that he purchased some broken games from the purple haired man who lives in the camouflaged trailer across the street.
4:26 p.m. A highly intoxicated man was spotted behind a carpet store in Ka- lispell.
6:16 p.m. Someone spotted a man in a Corvette driving down Main Street with the steering wheel in one hand and a beer in the other.
8:42 p.m. An apparently confused mus- tached man was seen standing along- side Mountain Meadow Road.
10:29 p.m. A man in a red hooded sweatshirt was seen scampering through a wooded area off of Highway 2 East in Kalispell.
WEDNESDAY 9/23
7:05 a.m. Someone driving down Whalebone Drive reported that a man was standing in the middle of
the road, surrounded by scattered garbage, clothes and other household items. Things were cleaned up and the man was gone when a deputy arrived.
8:43 a.m. A resident on Plentywood Drive reported that someone stole his bicycle, but left another less desirable one in its place.
12:31 p.m. Someone saw an 18-wheeler run a red light in front of the Super 1.
2:46 p.m. A Willow Glen Drive resident found that during the night someone had destroyed the lid to her septic sys- tem and defecated in her yard.
5:05 p.m. A Whitefish resident called in to state that he had been watching a man with his binoculars. Apparently, the man looked disheveled and was having a difficult time making his way on foot down Highway 93 West.
6:25 p.m. A 10-year-old boy was seen driving at excessive speeds down Hel- ena Flats Road.
9:45 p.m. Someone who nearly hit a boy on Helena Flats Road complained that that a boy and two others were leaping out of ditches and playing “chicken” with passing cars.
