OVER THE LAST SIX YEARS, THE
pattern of land sales in Flathead
County varies from month to
month. It is typical that the fewest sales
occur in January and the most land sales 80 occur in May and June.
The low point was in January of 2011, when only nine land sales occurred and the high in recent years was in May of 2013 when there were 83 sales. Since 2011, the average number of land sales in January has been 25 with 30 occurring in2016. TheaverageinMayhasbeen50 with 58 in May of 2016.
The number of land sales only re ects those reported through the Realtor’s regional MLS service. Private and devel- oper direct land sales are not re ected in these gures.
