BRUTUS
PHOTOS COURTESY OF: FLATHEAD COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER
We were rescued from an alley in Kalispell where, with our mother, we hunted for food in and around the garbage cans. Our mother never had been handled by people so she taught us to be afraid of them, even the ones trying to help us. Since we’ve been in our foster home, however, we’ve learned to be more trusting and to enjoy petting and play- ing and sitting in windows to watch the world go by.
Meet Brutus! We can’t believe this big, handsome, playful guy hasn’t been scooped up yet. Brutus loves people and will do well with older children. He’s a committed retriever of tennis balls and will play ball as long as you’re throwing arm holds out! Brutus requires a secure, fenced area. His adoption fee is waived with only the county license fee be- ing assessed. Bring your older children for a meet & greet.

I’m Buzz, the larger brown tabby. My sister, Bindi, has a gray tabby coat. We’ve been neutered and spayed, given our rst year vaccines, and micro- chipped. We are litter box trained and love to use our scratching post. Although our foster
home has small dogs and other cats, we haven’t socialized with them much yet. They look interesting and fun, so we think we’d enjoy playing with others like them when we have forever homes.

WINTON
I am a 6-month-old love bug with a bed-shaking purr. When I was rescued my right eye was swollen shut. I was given lots of yucky medicine by a gentle and patient fos- ter mom and, thanks to her care, I did not lose my eye or my sight. The experience left me a bit shy when people rst reach for me, but now I am making up for lost time. I love to be held and snuggled, to play with my toys, and to follow and supervise my people indoors and outside. I’m comfortable with other cats, older children and
