SUNDAY 9/27
2:41 p.m. A man was seen drinking an orange soda and "swearing up a storm" in front of a Kalispell business.
2:44 p.m. A local man reported that he found a dead bird, possibly a falcon, in a dumpster.
7:58 p.m. A Hungry Horse resident complained that the neighbors have been setting off fireworks at around 3 a.m. every morning for the past few days.
MONDAY 9/28
8:03 a.m. An irritable dog with a repu- tation of bad behavior was on the run and threatening the welfare of resi- dents on Willow Drive.
8:56 a.m. Five chickens lost their lives to an ambitious husky on Lore Lake Road.
10:14 a.m. A woman on the Cooperative Lane reported that someone left her sister’s stolen backpack on the porch with a creepy note that read “you are pretty ... call alone.”
10:30 a.m. Six dogs were barking on East Cottonwood Drive.
11:06 a.m. A resident on Highway 93 South reported that someone stole lawn chairs and other trash in his ga- rage last night.
11:52 a.m. A resident on East Cotton- wood Drive reported that the neigh- bor threatened to harm his dogs.
12:30 p.m. A Kalispell man reported that his wife was "taken" by her moth- er yesterday.
1:11 p.m. A Kalispell man complained that he couldn’t work out in his yard because of the neighbor’s dog and its intense interest in his activities.
2:13 p.m. Hundreds of fluorescent light bulbs were found in a ditch along Mc- mannamy Draw.
2:33 p.m. An 8-year-old boy was seen driving a red Toyota down Main Street. Apparently, he was not doing a good job.
4:09 p.m. A woman called from Ever- green to report that a man carrying a purse was walking along Highway 2 East screaming profanity into his phone.
8:24 p.m. A Columbia Falls man com- plained that the neighbor’s dogs fre- quently enter his house through the doggy door and help themselves to his dog’s food.
TUESDAY 9/29
7:22 a.m. A Hungry Horse man re- ported that his drunken ex-girlfriend stopped by and destroyed his house.
8:25 a.m. Two horses and a llama were loose and on the run down Kinshella Road.
5:39 p.m. Two apparently unrespon- sive men were passed out on the side- walk near Hutton Ranch Road.
6:49 p.m. A runaway dachshund took a brief jaunt about the neighborhood before returning home.
WEDNESDAY 9/30
8:25 a.m. A highly suspicious resident on Moonlight Trail reported that someone in an Audi has been slowly cruising the neighborhood all morn- ing.
10:29 a.m. A Coram woman reported that a shaggy dog with gray “dots” has lately been sniffing around her property and took off with one of her chickens.
4:07 p.m. An old black Lab was seen running through traffic on Highway 2 West. It was picked up and taken to the animal shelter.
6:18 p.m. A Kalispell man confessed his creepy stalking habits to his co-work- er.
11:21 p.m. A woman on West Cotton- wood Drive heard suspicious noises in her house and found a deck of playing cards on her kitchen floor.
THURSDAY 10/1
8:09 a.m. Someone witnessed two men in a red canoe rummaging through the bushes along Highway 93 North. Apparently, they found some sort of white chest, put it in their boat, and floated away.
8:56 a.m. A business owner on High- way 2 West reported that he caught a highly motivated man attempting to burglarize his Coke machine.
10:50 a.m. A dog was picked up in Whitefish and taken to the animal shelter.
12:44 p.m. A man on Dusty Trails Lane found that one of his No Trespassing signs had been cut in half.
1:35 p.m. A Somers man found evidence of vandalism and trespassers on his property. An animal warden deter- mined that the guilty individuals were game animals and that it was these animals that were responsible for any damage to the man’s fence.
7:04 p.m. A Columbia Falls resident reported that the neighbor’s decrepit goat was loose again and in his yard.
8:17 p.m. Someone reported that four hooded men were hanging out near the sewer area on Nicholson Drive.
10:59 p.m. A security guard at a local car dealership reported that someone in a burgundy pickup was parked in the lot. Apparently, this person was enjoying some no-pressure car shop- ping.
