SUNDAY 10/4
9:43 a.m. A woman who was thought to be “tweaking out” was spotted doing weird things on Three Mile Drive.
12:51 p.m. A man reported that he al- lowed the hitchhiker he picked up to drive his vehicle, but in doing so she intentionally tried to cause a wreck. When she stopped the car, she appar- ently jumped out and got into a vehicle with another stranger.
6:05 p.m. An intoxicated Hungry Horse woman was seen standing on the cor- ner of Fifth Street West, yelling at anyone who would listen.
6:25 p.m. Someone found an aggressive female black Lab near Lone Pine and regretted taking it home. It is now at the shelter.
MONDAY 10/5
1:20 a.m. A man was seen standing on Shady Lane yelling at cars, encourag- ing them to “keep driving.”
9:46 a.m. A Kalispell resident reported that the neighbor man stole a saw- horse from her property. She stated that earlier her husband had taken a pillowcase from the man and she sus- pects the sawhorse was taken in retal- iation. She stated that the pillowcase had been returned, but the man was still holding onto the sawhorse.
10:35 a.m. A Blue Lake Lane resident complained that a llama was standing in his front yard.
11:33 a.m. A woman on Trumble Creek Road called in to complain about all of the yellow construction trucks that drive up and down her road, despite her “no trucks” sign.
4:55 p.m. Someone found a freezer floating in the lake.
TUESDAY 10/6
8:54 a.m. Someone set off all of the fire extinguishers and spray painted the heavy equipment on Aluminum Drive in Columbia Falls.
9:27 a.m. A man on Mountain Meadow Drive called 911 to report that another man sassed him when he confronted him about cutting trees down on pri- vate property. The man was chopping trees on Forest Service property and no crime was committed.
12:33 p.m. Someone witnessed a man in a big white truck swerving slowly through the West Glacier area.
1:53 p.m. A Hungry Horse woman called in to complain about the neigh- bor’s old black Lab and its bad habits.
5:03 p.m. A Kalispell man reported that his neighbor attempted to run him over.
6:41 p.m. Someone on Daley Lane wit- nessed a man toss his cat up into the air. He did not catch it on its descent, but the cat was free from injury.
9:27 p.m. A man on Harmony Road called 911 to ask if he would be charged with assault if he were to hit a man in the head with baseball bat if that man happened to be in his back- yard stealing his lawnmower. When asked if this had occurred or was oc- curring at the time of the call the man said no, that this was a hypothetical situation and hung up.
WEDNESDAY 10/7
11:25 a.m. A Somers resident reported that a man who claimed to be “lost” drove onto a field, spun broadies, then sped off, driving through the neigh- bor’s yards.
2:17 p.m. Someone pretending to be a contractor out of Kalispell posted a fraudulent Craigslist ad.
3:02 p.m. A Kalispell resident called in to report that the neighbor man tore all of his trees out of the ground.
4:10 p.m. A man on Rhodes Draw re- ported that the neighbor’s teenaged boy was on his property, chopping up antlers with a hatchet.
10:34 p.m. Two men were seen wres- tling in a parking lot off of Highway 35 in Kalispell.
THURSDAY 10/8
8:34 a.m. A crossing guard on Swan River Road reported that stray black lab charged a student who was cross- ing the street.
8:37 a.m. The driver of an 18-wheeler called in to report that she was stuck on Addison Square and blocking traf- fic.
11:13 a.m. A German shepherd was spotted in the woods near Brown’s Meadow Road in Kila.
1:39 p.m. A man on Sunnyside Drive reported that two stray huskies have been “chewing” on his sheep.
3:16 p.m. Someone reported that a drunken man in yellow shorts drove his green Plymouth Breeze over the top of the roundabout and wrecked on the other side. At the time of the call the man in yellow was stumbling around near his vehicle.
8:33 p.m. Someone on Bowman Drive reported that a strange man was in the area attempting to sell “religious things,” but the caller believes the guy was casing houses.
