8:30 a.m. Some kids allegedly broke into some buses stored near U.S. Highway 93 in Kalispell and stole keys and gas cards.
9:59 a.m. A White sh man called to report that his remote hunting camera had been swiped.
10:10 a.m. The employee of a Kalispell auto shop reported that someone had stolen batteries from two vehicles over the weekend.
10:10 a.m. A hiker reported  nding a backpack full of drug paraphernalia on a trail to Lion Lake. They left the bag but called law enforcement to let them know they should look into it.
11:31 a.m. A “big cow” was reportedly standing in the middle of Marquardt Lane in Kalispell.
1:59 p.m. A Columbia Falls resident called to report that someone had bro- ken into multiple cars and at least one boat along U.S. Highway 2.
2:52 p.m. A driver  ipped another driv- er o  near Hungry Horse.
3:20 p.m. Another boat was broken into in Columbia Falls.
4:59 p.m. A van was sitting in a Kalis- pell cemetery for four days.
6:53 p.m. Some people dropped o  their nephew at a local school for his Boy Scouts meeting but it had been canceled. The young scout had no way of contacting his aunt and uncle af- ter they dropped him o  so a teacher brought him to the police station.
7:26 p.m. A Kalispell man called to re- port that someone outside his trailer was yelling “let’s do this right now” and was clearly ready to beat him up.
9:29 p.m. A Columbia Falls resident called to express concern about the neighbors constantly shooting skunks in the neighborhood.
TUESDAY 10/25
8:40 a.m. Two horses, one white and one brown, ran across U.S. Highway 2 near West Glacier.
10:32 a.m. A man wanting to talk about stolen checks  agged a Flathead County Sheri ’s deputy down.
11:52 a.m. A Kalispell man called to report that someone had climbed his fence and stolen his tires.
1:23 p.m. A Columbia Falls woman re- ported that two of her cows had gone missing.
2:59 p.m. A Somers man called law en- forcement to inquire if he could put a security camera in his front yard. Ap-
parently he’s tired of dogs defecating in his yard and he wants to pinpoint the responsible parties.
WEDNESDAY 10/26
12:40 a.m. A Columbia Falls woman called the cops to report a burglary in progress. She soon revealed that the two perpetrators were actually her brother and boyfriend and she just wanted them out of the house after a drunken argument earlier in the eve- ning. The two men ended up sleeping in a camper next to the house.
7:37 a.m. A White sh man called to report that someone had been in his shed.
8:28 a.m. A Kalispell woman at an assisted living home reportedly trig- gered her distress call button by acci- dent. First responders found her en- joying breakfast.
10:13 a.m. A Kila resident called to re- port that three cats living in a nearby abandoned house have decimated the local baby bird population in a mur- derous rampage.
1:08 p.m. A Columbia Falls resident called to talk about cracked wind- shields.
7:51 p.m. A Bigfork man called to report he sent a fax to the Sheri ’s O ce.
THURSDAY 10/27
9:30 a.m. A Kalispell man called to re- port that dump trucks were driving too fast on his road.
9:54 a.m. A Marion man called to re- port that a woman broke into his house and stole his cat. The woman’s boyfriend has since returned the kid- napped kitten but the man would still like to press charges.
1:39 p.m. Yet another boat break-in was reported in Columbia Falls.
2:08 p.m. A Kalispell resident called
to report that a nearby trailer home
is full of stolen goods. The reporting party knows this because someone drove a riding lawnmower to the trail- er at 3 a.m.
4:19 p.m. A White sh resident returned from vacation to  nd the home’s ga- rage had been broken into.
6:57 p.m. A Bigfork driver called to re- port that a van was trying to pass the vehicle on the highway when it was clearly not safe to do so.
7:45 p.m. The Bigfork man who sent the earlier fax to the Sheri ’s O ce called to let them know he has sent another fax.
