Fielder Understands the Need for Balance
I have known Sen. Jennifer Fielder for a number of years. She works incredibly hard and is completely dedicated to solv- ing problems. Her integrity is for real.
I don’t trust politicians, but Jennifer Fielder is no politician. She is one of us. She actually listens and does what she says she will do. She represents our inter- ests and puts Montanans rst. She puts in the time to study all of the pros and cons on issues that none of us have the time to closely examine.
Jennifer has become a nationally rec- ognized expert on solutions to truly improve public land management so we can have a healthy environment, prevent wild res, restore jobs, and enjoy world- class recreation. She understands the need for balance.
Jennifer Fielder is so much more than a public o cial. She is a friend of all Mon- tana citizens. She is standing strong to not only save jobs, but create jobs. Her every move is gauged to defend our freedoms and provide opportunities so everyone can better their life if they want to.
I know that liberal extremists are scared of her, because she is e ective at reversing big government control of our lives, our lands, and our pocket books. They want more government control; Jennifer works around the clock to keep them o our backs.
Don’t believe that she doesn’t know what she is doing. She is your friend and mine and her commonsense is badly needed to continue representing us as state senator from Senate District 7.
Please pull the lever on Nov. 8 for Jen-
How about your life itself? In March 2015, Zac voted no on the Human Life bill, HB425, designed to protect the young, elderly, and other vulnerable citizens of Montana from predation.
Taylor believes we not only have the right to protect and defend ourselves as individuals when assaulted by those intending to deprive us of life, limb or property, we also have a right to enjoy shooting sports. Zac got an F (twice) from the Montana Shooting Sports Associa- tion, and an F rating from the NRA.
HD3, please show up and vote for Tay-
great state of Montana. For seven years she was the Montana Superintendent of Schools. During her tenure she increased the high school graduation rate to the highest in Montana’s history. As a result of that distinction, thousands of well-pay- ing jobs were created in our state allow- ing our children to remain living here instead of searching for work elsewhere. Her highest priority has ALWAYS been job creation.
Furthermore she supports keeping our federal lands public for the enjoyment of everyone, not just the rich.
So when entering the ballot box on Nov. 8, think about all the women whose voices have been intimidated into silence after being sexually abused. Vote for a person who does not support that kind of disgust- ing behavior.
Vote for Denise Juneau and sleep with a clear conscience.
PS: Did you know that the United States still has not passed an Equal Rights Amendment? It lost by only one vote.

Support Continued Trapping; Keep Pets on a Leash
It was last hunting season when I expe- rienced the genuine concern of the Foot Loose crowd. These are the folks who are pushing for the end of trapping.
I stopped out at the area I wanted to hunt and before I could leave my truck, the neighboring “environmentalists” would let their dogs loose to run through the area I was planning to hunt. Every deer was stampeded out ahead of the dogs.
The folks who were responsible for the anti-trapping measure seem to forget that many counties in Montana are now or have been recently under quarantine for rabies. It has been the independent trappers who have kept the animals under control.
Soon it will be time to vote for or against trapping, and I plan to vote to support continued trapping and require- ments to keep pets on a leash while they are in the woods.

Politics of Prejudice
Before you vote, HD3, think about this potential scenario. I’m a businessperson considering a location in northwest Mon- tana. The state representative of one com- munity has a long history of ties to groups he claims are “dedicated to the defense of Western Civilization” but that are more commonly called “white nationalist.” The next community over doesn’t have that kind of baggage. Which am I more likely to choose? Time and again in recent years, the politics of prejudice have proved to be bad for business. Vote Zac Perry for HD3.

Montana’s Tribal Leaders Choose Bullock
As Montana’s tribal leaders and Amer- ican Indian legislators it is our responsi- bility to advocate on behalf of our state’s First Nation families, and that is why we take exception to the misleading letter
state Rep. Bruce Meyers wrote in a recent opinion column.
Gov. Steve Bullock has been a strong advocate and ally for Montana’s tribal members – that’s a fact.
Under Bullock’s leadership, we have been able to take major steps forward to increase access to health care, strengthen education, and create more good-paying jobs in Indian Country.
Bullock is helping close the health gaps on reservations by establishing the O ce of American Indian Health, and because of his leadership tens of thousands of Native Americans now have access to health insurance because of the biparti- san HELP Act.
He also created the Indian Country Economic Development Program, and through that new initiative, he has helped tribes secure $1.6 million to date to help Native Americans entrepreneurs start their own business.
Bullock also signed into law the Mon- tana Indian Language Program and the Culture Integrity Commitment Act, to better ensure our kids and grandkids can share the same cultural identity as our parents and grandparents. He person- ally met with tribal leaders and native language speakers to develop the law and program because it was important to them.
We know that Bullock will continue to be a strong advocate for families in Indian Country.
Unfortunately, we can’t say the same for his opponent.
When Meyers brought New Jersey mil- lionaire Greg Gianforte to Indian Coun- try, Mr. Gianforte talked only out of one side of his mouth. It has been reported that behind closed doors, Gianforte tells folks that Native Americans don’t have a culture that celebrates success or the abil- ity to create thriving businesses.
Also, Meyers was quick to promote Gianforte’s secret plan to create jobs, but during September’s gubernatorial debate Gianforte failed to provide any speci cs about how he would strengthen the econ- omy in Indian Country.
Meyers was right about one thing in his column, candidates running for o ce often make empty promises to folks in Indian Country during election sea- son and it is clear to us that that during this campaign, the candidate with the empty promises is Greg Gianforte. Also it shouldn’t be surprising that Mey- ers says Gianforte only visited six out of seven reservations, we wonder which one he skipped.
We need a governor who believes in the potential of our Native people, and that is why we are standing alongside Gov. Steve Bullock.

Get the Truth About Trapping
The man who pulls a knife in a st- ght is desperate and losing. The liar in an argument is also. Knowingly telling lies is a sign that we may have a belief that cannot be honestly defended. Those of us who support I-177 have checked the facts whenever we write or say anything about trapping. We do not have to make things up.
The latest misinformation is shame- less and horrible because it is scaring par- ents. They tell you that POISON could be placed at parks and playgrounds. That is absolutely false and easy to check. Just read the full text of the Initiative. I-177.
It is on our website: www.montana- trapfree.org. In Section 4 you will see (2) (a) trapping allowed ... for medical treat- ment of animals, relocation or transplan- tation of animals or protection of public health and safety.
No one, in their right mind, would put traps or poison in schoolyards or parks. The trappers attempt to shock and scare the public with this sort of dishonesty is testament to their other illogical decep- tions, too numerous to list.
Get the truth about trapping, I vote yes
Rose Understands Montana’s Sovereignty
I was disappointed in the “represen- tation” I received last legislative session from Zac Perry. I was in contact with Zac on numbers of issues.
I and others from the district sent Zac cohesive, worrisome information and analysis on SB262, the Water Compact bill this last session, stripping Montana of her waters and water rights, placing them in the hands of feds and tribal councils.
When the Water Compact went to the House, Zac voted for it, giving ultimate sovereignty of Hungry Horse Reservoir to the tribes. Zac’s response to us his con- stituents was thanks and had we read the Compact.
Now we learn Zac is on record co-sign- ing a letter with a Missoula senator stating he supports settling Syrian refugees into Montana. Does anyone see a picture here?
Taylor Rose understands Montana’s sovereignty and her inalienable right to govern herself and her own resources.
Parent, do you believe faceless bureau- crats 2,000 miles away should be in charge of your child’s education? Zac believes they’re more trustworthy than you, parent, and he voted yes to them and no to you on two bills stripping you of your rights (HB377 and HB501).
Taylor believes parents have the right to govern their children’s education.

Let’s Send a Woman to Congress Again
Montana only has one representative in Congress. Do we want to elect a per- son to represent us who supports a candi- date for president who is a vulgar abuser of women? Did you know that one in ve – that’s “one in ve” women in the United States has su ered some form of sexual abuse? I think we can all agree that is a staggering number. Ryan Zinke supports Trump, the candidate for president that is an admitted sexual abuser of women himself.
I have a better idea. Let’s make some history! We did it once, we can do it again. Montana has only elected one woman to Congress, EVER. It was Jeannette Rankin, in 1916, four years before women even got the vote. She did such a stellar job we elected her again in 1946. Now, we have a chance to change the course of history in
Montana again.
Denise Juneau is running for Ryan
Zinke’s seat in The House of Representa- tives. She is a multi-generational native Montanan who unlike Ryan Zinke has already made a huge positive mark in our
