ROCKY
Can you believe how cute this dog is? Rocky is a one year-old Cattle Dog/Jack Russell Terrier mix. He’s ‘smart as a whip’, affectionate and energetic. Rocky is a ‘ladies man’ preferring the company of women to men. He is afraid of men, needs to be in a home with- out children and needs to be the only pet. Due to his wonderful size, Rocky would be a great outdoor/trav- eling companion.
» TO ADOPT, CALL FLATHEAD COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER, 752-1310 BRIDGET
Bridget is a quiet, gentle and friendly feline. She came into the shelter, in August, and went into fos- ter care as she was pregnant. After caring of her kittens, Bridget is now ready for adoption. She gets along with cats, yet is not fond of dogs. A home with children over the age of 12 would be best suited for Bridget. Please come meet her.
» TO ADOPT, CALL FLATHEAD COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER, 752-1310 CHEWY
As one can see, Chewy loves people and loves to play. Due to his high level of energy, older children are best suited for him. Come meet this young handsome boy and let him into your heart.
» TO ADOPT, CALL FLATHEAD COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER, 752-1310 BONNEVILLE POWER ADMINISTRATION
The Bonneville Power Administration intends to fund the purchase of approximately 20 acres of riparian habitat along Flathead River near the town of Kalispell in Flathead County, Montana. When the purchase is complete Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks will own and manage the property for fish and wildlife conservation purposes and BPA will receive a conservation easement to ensure that the habitat values on the property are always protected.
The funding will be provided as part of BPA’s ongoing efforts to protect, restore and enhance habitat for bull trout and westslope cutthroat trout as mitigation for the construction and operation of the Hungry Horse hydroelectric facility on the South Fork of the Flathead River.
MFWP, in coordination with BPA, will develop a management plan for the property and will provide the public an opportunity to review and comment on the plan. BPA must approve the plan before new actions can occur on the property. Letters describing the proposed purchase, a map and information describing environmental review requirements under the National Environmental Policy Act are available at www.efw. bpa.gov.
For more information contact BPA project manager Cecilia Brown at 503-230-3462 or [email protected]. You can also call toll free 800- 622-4519.
