RegiSTeR now for spring courses at FVCC.
Make it happen at FVCC.
“I completed a year of college right out of high school and then took some time off to have my son. I was working as a CNA but was struggling with the decision to come back to school to start the stepping stones toward providing a better life for myself and my son. I finally went back when I decided I didn’t want to struggle with that decision for my whole life. Even though it’s challenging, I’m really happy with my
choice – FVCC is so accommodating, and the Surgical Technology program has been great. It pushes me to my limits, but I feel accomplished at the end of every single day. I know that striving to achieve this goal and enduring the challenges will be worth it – my future and my son’s future are bright!”

it isn’t all about studying...
FVCC offers endless ways for students to have fun, meet friends and get involved for a good cause.
“One of the best things about FVCC is that there are so many ways to be involved. I do almost all the intramural activities from basketball to Mario Kart, and I have made a
ton of friends. I’m also in the Honors Program which offers great classes and a tuition waiver. It’s also affordable – a buddy in Oregon spent $50,000 on his first year of college. I took the same classes he did, and they will all transfer. After FVCC, I am planning to transfer to Oregon State University. Eventually I want to work as a researcher in the hatchery programs in Oregon. All in all, I absolutely love
FVCC!”

“I want to be a doctor, so I know I have a lot of school ahead of me. Because I can keep working while attending FVCC, I’ll end up with about $10,000 in my bank account after the first couple of years rather than being $20,000 in debt if I started somewhere else. What I didn’t realize was how impressed I would be with the quality of education. All of my teachers are Ph.D.s, and I’m taking courses that really challenge me! My friends at four- year universities are in classes with hundreds of other students. Here, I’m getting personalized attention from instructors who really care about my
success. FVCC is a great school!”
