Tommy started like most golfers, driving the golf cart as a young boy while his grandfather played at Bu alo Hill Golf Club. When Tommy was 10, his grandfather bought the boy his own set, and right away he was a natural. By freshman year of high school at Glacier, Tommy nished fourth at the state tournament,
a remarkable achievement. But throughout his standout prep career, a title eluded him. Until now. At
the championship tournament in Helena, Tommy red his best rounds of the year, back-to-back 69s, and he captured the Class AA title by two strokes. He earned it the hard way; he trailed by one stroke in the nal nine holes before ring a birdie, par, birdie to nish. He graduates as an academic all-state player and plans to attend San Diego State University but he will not compete on the golf course. Instead it will transition into a fun hobby.
