Just as he was cruising through the nal cross country season of his illustrious prep career, Logan ran into a sizeable hurdle. Logan was diagnosed with an iron de ciency, which caused signi cant fatigue and weakness during endurance races. It could have sidelined his season, like it almost did for his sister Makena a year ago, but Logan battled through it. Although his times were not up
to his standard, he still claimed one more state championship medal.
At the state meet in Great Falls, he successfully defended his Class B title, clocking 15:36.02. Logan now owns two titles as well as second- place and third-place medals from the state meet. While addressing
his health issues, he plans to train
all winter for track season and
then move on to Colorado State University-Pueblo, where he will continue competing alongside former Columbia Falls state champ Derrick Williams.
