Snow Reports: If you’d rather wake up to an email of the snow report in your inbox than checking the app or website, you can sign up to receive their morning report at 7 a.m. You also get to choose whether you want to receive it daily, when we get 3 inches or more, or 6 inches or more.

Just kidding. is weekly installment, or as I like to call it, “column” is our way of delivering pertinent information in an entertaining way for those of you who like to read. Here’s an inside look at how you can connect to keep up with the latest at the mountain, and what’s new this season.
Snow Reporters: is season we have two new snow reporters Mike Beall and Chuck Fin- lay. In addition to their ability to wake up and be at work at 5:30 a.m. to report the daily snow and weather conditions with enthusiasm, both Mike and Chuck bring a wealth of experience in photography and videography.
What’s new this season is rather than pro- duce a daily video, which required daily editing, the reporters will be out and about the resort gathering video footage for a series of videos to be featured on our website (skiwhite sh.com/ videos) and YouTube channel (youtube.com/ skiwhite sh). Additionally they will be our go- to photographers shooting daily life and special events up here. eir photos and short video clips also will appear on our social media chan- nels.
Skiwhite sh.com: You may have noticed we recently redesigned our website. is gen- eration is the most mobile-friendly yet. During the ski season the three most popular pages on our website are the webcams, snow report, and weather. Webcams update every ve minutes and those of you who live by the cams know to
refresh o en. e rst report is done around 6 a.m. which includes weather information as well as a list of open li s and runs plus what was groomed overnight. It’s updated again at 10 a.m. a er the reporter has hit the slopes. Weather is fed live from N.O.A.A. and includes a link to the weather station located on our summit.
Many of you may have noticed that when you #skiwhite sh on Instagram, your photos will also be featured on skiwhite sh.com/hashtag- skiwhite sh. It’s a community bulletin board of snapshots and with the expanded WiFi spots around the resort it’s now easier than ever to share your photos.
SkiWhite sh App: e app is a boiled down version of what’s on the website. A new version of the app, with enhanced features, is coming soon.
Facebook: We are creeping up on 30,000 fans on Facebook. is is one of the best plac-
es to check for up-to-date information about what’s happening on the mountain. Plus we’ll post photos and/or videos daily. It’s a quick way for us to reach out to our guests with important information that comes up, and where to go for current event info.
Twitter (@skiwhite sh): Almost 8,000 of you follow us on Twitter and if your daily ritual includes checking your Twitter feeds then you will be in the know on our daily food specials, snow totals, ash sales and more.
Periscope: If you’ve heard of Periscope, then you are as savvy as our new Content Specialist, Colette Stroia. e latest social channel will fea- ture live video streaming from the mountain. It’s cool and hip so check it out and impress your friends.
