 JULY The rising sun illuminates the peaks surrounding the Many Glacier Hotel in Glacier National Park. This summer, the Many Glacier Hotel celebrated 100 years as one of the crown jewels of Glacier National Park. For more than a century, the massive hotel has withstood the ravages of time, oods and re, all the while enticing people with its legend and lore.
 FEBRUARY Melissa Hulvat faceplants as she pushes Pierre Kaptanian o the starting line during the Barstool Ski Races at the 37th annual Cabin Fever Days in Martin City. The Trapline Association is a nonpro t organization established in the 1990s that puts on the annual festival. The event raises money for local charities in Bad Rock Canyon.
 APRIL Jordan Reese poses with his clarinet at White sh High School. The school sent about 60 students to the Montana High School Association State Solo and Ensemble Festivals. “That’s one out of every eight kids walking through the hallways at White sh High School,” Principal Kerry Drown said. “That’s pretty impressive.”
