MONDAY 12/29
11:45 a.m. A keg of beer was stolen out of the back of a delivery truck when the driver stopped to help another person who was stuck in the snow.
1:18 a.m. Someone made a non-emer- gent “butt dial” to 911.
1:42 p.m. A Columbia Falls resident reported that the neighbor’s vicious dogs were in his yard and, if they threatened his dog, he planned to fight them off with a baseball bat.
5:06 p.m. A man walking down Whale- bone Drive called in with unintelli- gible concerns regarding oppressive CIA agents.
8:23 p.m. Someone called from a bath- room stall in Hungry Horse to report that a man in the bar was wearing her son’s stolen coat and may be carrying a gun.
9:16 p.m. A drunken man called from his home in Marion to report that two men at the bar tried to stop him from driving and he might have punched one of them in the face.
10:04 p.m. A man towing a baseball bat was seen stumbling down Willow Glenn Drive.
10:44 p.m. A bartender in Hungry Horse reported that two men were “getting ugly” and that one pulled a gun on the other.
12:48 a.m. A Whitefish man reported that his “strange” and drunken girl- friend was in his house destroying things. He stated that he picked her up and physically removed her from the house and locked the door. At the time of the call she was attempting to break the door down. She was arrested.

9:05 a.m. A woman on Browns Road called in to discuss the neighbor dog’s bad behavior.
11:38 a.m. A woman on Shady Lane re- ported that her wedding ring was sto- len last month and she recently found it at a local pawn shop.
3:39 p.m. A local man reported that a strange woman just ran off with his dog.
4:13 p.m. Someone narrowly missed hitting a German shepherd that was wandering down Foothill Road.
4:31 p.m. A pair of goggles, some sun- glasses, and an electronic car starter was stolen out of a vehicle on Glades Drive in Whitefish.
5:35 p.m. Tools were reported stolen from a job site on Luge Lane in White- fish.
9:21 p.m. A resident on Dawn Drive suspects that someone, probably his
landlord, ransacked his house and
stole his knives, rifle and tackle box. 10:40 p.m. A woman reported that
multiple items including her center console organizer were stolen out of her car while it was parked at the train station in Whitefish.
11:41 p.m. A woman walking down Park Street reported that someone in a car decorated with Transformers nearly hit her. She called back later claim- ing that the driver knew her and was threatening to return and beat her up.
11:44 p.m. Two men vacationing from Canada laughed and apologized for punching one another behind a build- ing in Columbia Falls.
THURSDAY 1/1
7:33 a.m. A pickup topper that was ly- ing in the middle of Highway 2 West was pulled out of the road.
9:07 a.m. A Frontage Road resident reported that someone rummaged through his car during the night, but nothing was taken.
10:20 a.m. Someone broke down and caused a scene at the local animal shelter.
11:22 a.m. An aggressive black lab on Elk Park Drive was sprayed with bear spray after charging a man who was walking by its house.
12:45 p.m. Men were overheard talking about helicopters and football during an accidental phone call to 911.
7:05 p.m. A woman driving down High- way 2 East reported that someone with no headlights was swerving and tailgating her. She suspected that the driver of the car was chasing her.
11:07 p.m. Someone speeding down East Idaho Street ran a red light.
11:47 p.m. A woman accidentally called 911 and hung up numerous times. During the last call she stated “I am too old to mess with this,” then said a prayer out loud and hung up.
FRIDAY 1/2
4:31 p.m. Someone reported that a person who was lying on the ground alongside Highway 93 North was look- ing at him. A deputy was unable to find anyone lying in the snow at that loca- tion.
6:03 p.m. A Kalispell man reported that “someone” who lives with his mother threw all of his belongings outside.
9:57 p.m. A Kalispell woman reported that a drunken middle-aged man in pajamas was at her apartment yelling at her, refusing to leave.
