9:33 a.m. Two German shepherds have been loose and wreaking havoc in the Hungry Horse area for the past two weeks.
9:38 a.m. A man reported that while dumpster diving another man ap- proached him, took some pictures, and told him that his activities were illegal.
10:06 a.m. A skittish husky has been loose on Springdale Drive for the past several days.
4:12 p.m. A woman on Holt Stage re- ported that a silver hatchback contain- ing four small candy machines tore through her yard early this morning.
5:25 p.m. A resident on Brunner Road in Columbia Falls reported that the neighbor’s black Lab was eating his garbage.
5:25 p.m. Another call was made about the black Lab, this one by a man re- porting that the dog chased him down the street. He reported that he now arms himself with a baseball bat.
12:12 a.m. A report was made about two drunken Martin City men who were riding four wheelers. Apparently, this is an ongoing problem.
TUESDAY 1/27
8:49 a.m. A disgruntled Happy Valley resident wanted to talk about neigh- bor problems.
9:12 a.m. Someone successfully stole a vending machine from a grocery store in Kalispell.
10:29 a.m. Possible candy machine thieves were spotted at a Coin Star machine in Kalispell.
10:58 a.m. A dog on Lone Star Trail barks constantly.
1:43 p.m. A horse was spotted wander- ing down Jellison Road.
3:26 p.m. Mail was found strewn about Park Avenue.
3:27 p.m. A boy in a big pickup nearly rear-ended a woman during an epi- sode of reckless driving in the high school parking lot.
3:34 p.m. Three adult men were spot- ted riding in the back of a flatbed truck in their “easy chairs.” A deputy found them on Highway 2 West and advised them on safe highway travel.
5:41 p.m. Someone driving down High- way 93 North was reportedly tailgat- ing and yelling at other drivers.
5:46 p.m. A tiny terrier was heard bark- ing on Meadow Hills Drive. Apparent- ly, this is an ongoing problem.
2:21 a.m. An employee of a local gas sta- tion reported that a man dressed like a cowboy asked to trade drugs for items in the store.

8:50 a.m. A black dog was seen digging in a snowbank off of Highway 93 South
near Whitefish.
11:35 a.m. A landlord reported that a
recently evicted tenant stole his wash-
er and dryer.
1:23 p.m. The ongoing sound of barking
hound dogs has irritated a resident on
Coyote Meadow Trail.
1:52 p.m. A dumpster caught fire in Co-
ram.
3:42 p.m. A loose dog was out harassing
horses on Lindsey Lane.
6:03 p.m. A resident of Aspen Loop
complained that the smoke from the neighbor’s fireplace settles around his house and it smells bad.
7:08 p.m. A woman was overheard or- dering a McChicken sandwich with no mayo during an accidental call to 911.
7:25 p.m. An employee of a local busi- ness called in regarding the case of the stolen gumball machines. He has two suspects in mind.
THURSDAY 1/29
8:47 a.m. Someone reportedly drove through a Columbia Falls resident’s yard sometime during the night, dam- aging their decorative driveway and hitting their vehicle.
9:45 a.m. A resident on Conrad Drive reported that two pit bulls attacked her dog then vanished into a nearby cemetery.
12:59 p.m. An Evergreen woman felt she was being scammed by someone claiming to be from the Publisher’s Clearing House.
1:50 p.m. Someone complained that snowboarders were jumping a fence off of Highway 206 near Columbia Falls.
2:58 p.m. A Kila resident was also scammed by someone claiming to be from the Publisher’s Clearing House.
4:27 p.m. An elderly woman was re- portedly driving the wrong direction around a round-a-bout on the bypass.
4:38 p.m. An employee of a local busi- ness has video footage of a coffee mug robbery.
6:52 p.m. Someone spotted a loose St. Bernard walking along Farm to Mar- ket. An animal warden was unable to find it, but did find another stray dog that was picked up and returned to its owner.
8:54 p.m. A Somers woman complained that the neighbor yells at her when she and her family take walks down to the lake.
9:10 p.m. A Hungry Horse woman reported that her ex-friend pepper sprayed her husband and stole a gun from her vehicle.
10:40 p.m. A home on Peaceful Drive was broken into. Items including lap- top and jewelry were reported missing.
1:08 a.m. A Somers resident com- plained that the people in the neigh- boring apartment were yelling and stomping on the floor.
