 The Smoking Aces Tour is back in Whitefish to showcase another slopestyle event featuring high- flying skiing and snowboarding.
Skiers and snowboarders of all ages and skill lev- els will come from near and far to throw down their best tricks.
With stops at Schweitzer Mountain Resort, Big Sky and Whitefish Mountain Resort, the Smoking Aces Tour has quickly become one of the largest freestyle events in the region in only its second year.
The Smoking Aces “Full House” event takes over Whitefish Mountain Resort on Saturday, Feb. 28. Features will include jumps, rails and boxes with small jumps ranging from 15-20 feet and large jumps from 20-40 feet. Handrails will come in a variety of sizes, shapes and lengths to please any competitor.
Online registration for the event is available at http://www.smokingacestour.eventbrite.com and a pre-event registration party will be held Friday night from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at The Toggery in down- town Whitefish.
Whether you want to compete for the rights to call yourself the 2015 Smoking Aces Tour Champi- on, or if you just want to do a single slopestlyle event with no strings attached, the Smoking Aces Tour is open to all comers.
No membership fees are necessary to take part in any of the three stops on the 2015 Smoking Aces Tour. All events will have their own cash purse and prizes for podium finishers. While those who are deemed the Tour Champion will be handsomely re- warded with an assortment of amazing prizes and even larger cash purse.
