9:45 a.m. A malamute took the lives of at least seven show rabbits in Coram. Four rabbits are still missing.
1:06 p.m. A large number of people were seen “dumpster diving” in Lake- side.
5:48 p.m. A bicyclist on Highway 35 in Kalispell reported that a young man in a Ford Ranger threw a golf ball at him. The bicyclist was not hit or in- jured. The boy denied the accusation.
7:42 p.m. A woman saw a suspicious looking man run through a gravel pit in Columbia Falls and wondered if deputies were looking for him.
MONDAY 3/9
9:41 a.m. A woman reported that two unarmed women and a child broke into her house and stole numerous items including her jewelry and a safe.
9:42 a.m. A man on Smith Lake Road reported that someone stole a deer head from his front porch.
10:43 a.m. A local woman reported that her ex-husband’s girlfriend is pressur- ing her to sell drugs.
2:37 p.m. A man skateboarding down a hill on Foys Lake Road was holding up traffic, annoying at least one driver.
3:21 p.m. A woman on Blazing Trail in Whitefish complained that someone’s llama was standing in her yard.
5:01 p.m. A Kalispell woman reported that someone left their child in a parked car on Anderson Lane. She later realized the car belonged to her friend, who had momentarily stepped out to collect the honey she was giving away.
6:41 p.m. An Addison Square resident successfully captured the cat that had been eating her chickens.
9:14 p.m. A Kila woman reported that a small bearded man was lurking around her house. He had, at the time of the all, already scurried away.
2:03 a.m. A Kalispell woman received a creepy phone call from a man who was looking for socks to match his daugh- ter’s dress.
TUESDAY 3/10
12:49 p.m. An employee of a local gro- cery store reported that a man angrily tore up some phone books after being told he was not allowed back in the store.
1:37 p.m. A resident on Highway 35
in Kalispell found a dead and rabid- looking skunk on her front porch. She suspects a cat with a twisted sense of pride left it for her.
2:02 p.m. A resident on Penny Lane in Columbia Falls felt numerous ex- plosions yesterday. Another resident called in reporting the same thing.
3:54 p.m. A fearless young girl with a broken arm was seen riding her bike down a “dangerous” hill on Dillon Road in Whitefish.
4:14 p.m. A man on West Cottonwood Drive reported that another man was chasing him down the road with a rock, yelling at him to get in the house and “do the dishes.” The man with the rock happened to be the victim’s brother, who, at the time of the call, was upset about the state of the kitch- en sink. No one was injured.
4:38 p.m. A woman on Morning View Drive reported that there are over 100 vehicles in her yard, making it impos- sible to sell her house.
8:14 p.m. A Kalispell resident found a “drug kit” near the river.
12:30 a.m. A drunken driver fell asleep at a stop sign on Whitefish Stage.
WEDNESDAY 3/11
2:49 p.m. A Hungry Horse woman re- ported that her friend stole her house, car, and post office keys.
4:45 p.m. A runaway dog who had been hanging out by a smoke shack in Ka- lispell was picked up and taken to the shelter.
5:01 p.m. A woman on Auction Road found a bunch of counterfeit one dol- lar bills near her house.
7:30 p.m. An accidental call to 911 was made during pinecone war between screaming kids on Whitefish Stage.
9:30 p.m. A renter on Collier Lane re- ported that their house stinks, but the property owner won’t do anything about it.
THURSDAY 3/12
11:03 a.m. Numerous credit cards belonging to the same woman were found near a fabric store in Evergreen.
12:34 p.m. A habitually loose and poorly behaved Chihuahua was spot- ted prancing about on School Addition Road. The little boy who was out look- ing for it was told to keep it contained.
1:37 p.m. Someone in Bigfork reported that an acquaintance of his just con- fessed to stealing a wallet containing $7,000 in cash.
3:44 p.m. A Hungry Horse man report- ed that a drunken woman hit him in the head with a grill. He did not need medical assistance.
6:49 p.m. A Kalispell man complained that someone is trying to sell his house on Craigslist.
