MONDAY 7/14
10:12 a.m. A Whitefish resident com- plained that the neighbor’s barking dogs are annoying, but the roosters are even worse.
12:17 p.m. An un-catchable Yorkie type dog remains free and at large in the Valley View Drive area.
2:24 p.m. A bicyclist wearing a back- pack and a fisherman’s cap may or may not have been hit by a vehicle. Either way, he was not injured and pedaled away from the alleged incident.
4:42 p.m. A complaint was made about a rowdy group of transients who were playing music in the trees off of Rail- way Street in Whitefish.
4:48 p.m. A man on Second Street West complained that the neighbor boy has been shooting the squirrels out of his trees.
8:06 p.m. A woman on North Somers Road believes her landlord stole her iPad.
TUESDAY 7/15
9:26 a.m. A Kalispell woman accused a man of damaging her property in retaliation for an event that occurred three years ago.
10:07 a.m. A Hungry Horse woman re- ported that her sister’s ex-boyfriend violently kicked her truck. He agreed to pay for the damages.
11:01 a.m. A Kalispell woman reported that her stolen vehicle is now a cube at the recycling center.
5:13 p.m. A man-hating schnauzer was picked up in Coram and taken to the county animal shelter.
7:17 p.m. A Whitefish resident com- plained that thee neighbors are doing some “major drugs,” have guns, and have been drinking heavily.
12:34 a.m. An employee of a local ca- sino reported that a 10-year-old girl wearing a pink backpack wandered in and asked for directions to Canada. The girl explained that she wasn’t in danger, but has a friend in Canada and thought that she would ride her bike over for a visit. The girl was returned to her parents.
WEDNESDAY 7/16
9:44 a.m. A Whitefish resident com- plained that the neighbor’s two dogs and four roosters are constantly mak- ing dog and rooster noises.
12:05 p.m. A man on Tanager Drive in Bigfork reported that someone’s goat was standing on his porch.
12:39 p.m. A Kalispell man caught a German shepherd and put it in his backyard.
1:13 p.m. A Kalispell man worried that the neighbor’s goat didn’t have any water. It did.
6:12 p.m. Someone reported that 30 drunken kids were playing on a bridge
on Nicholson Drive. A deputy found them to be sober, but did advise that they get off of the bridge.
2:53 a.m. A man on Caroline Road re- ported that his neighbors are outside with a flashlight stealing strawberries from his garden.
THURSDAY 7/17
9:18 a.m. A family called from a trail off of Blankenship Road to report that a man in “the mountains” was yell- ing and shooting a pistol at them. No injuries were reported and two pistols were confiscated from the man in the mountains.
1:24 p.m. A complaint was made about kids jumping off the railroad trestle into the river off of Nicholson Drive. 2:10 p.m. A Kalispell resident reported receiving threatening phone calls from someone pretending to be an “IRS agent.”
3:03 p.m. Someone in Bigfork called in to complain about a business owner’s advertising tactics.
6:43 p.m. A drunken man and a tooth- less woman were seen fighting on Re- serve Drive.
9:51 p.m. A resident on Trillium Way heard what sounded like a mountain lion “meowing” in the area of Wood- land Park.
11:28 p.m. A resident on Poplar Drive reported that a man with a tattooed face walked into his trailer and lit his door on fire. The fire was successfully extinguished.
2:38 a.m. A man with dreadlocks was caught trying to steal shampoo from a store on Third Avenue East North.
SUNDAY 7/20
9:34 a.m. A Kalispell man reported that his wife and mother-in-law were intoxicated and yelling at him. He added that his mother-in-law slapped him across the face.
11:13 a.m. A Bigfork woman reported that the neighbor man dug an 18-inch hole in her yard.
5:28 p.m. A man on Egan Road re- ported that his neighbor’s mailbox exploded.
7:13 p.m. Another mailbox, this one on Roebocker Lane, blew up.
8:30 p.m. A pizza delivery guy walked into an elderly man’s house to find that the man “looked dead” and was surrounded by flies. The delivery guy left the residence and had his manager call 911. The man was only sleeping and stated that he no longer wanted his pizza.
9:33 p.m. A man called 911 from Essex requesting contact information for a business he saw on TV that was adver- tising free scooters. He was advised to look in the phonebook.
