THURSDAY 9/3
8:16 a.m. Eight horses were loose and running down Highway 35 in Kalis- pell.
9:30 a.m. A Hungry Horse woman re- ported that a man was in the woods, chasing and harassing her. Deputies found the accused man lying on his couch, claiming that he was physically unable to move.
9:58 a.m. An unrestrained child was seen dangling her arms out the back window of a truck, reaching for the dog.
10:22 a.m. A window of a vacation rent- al in Hungry Horse was shot out with a pellet gun.
11:54 a.m. A runaway border collie was picked up on Cheery Lynn Road and returned to its backyard.
11:54 a.m. Someone traveling down Meridian Road reported that the driv- er of a red vehicle attempted to cut him off.
12:18 p.m. Two border collies were spotted on Whalebone Road.
12:20 p.m. Someone spotted a black Lab walking across a bridge in Hungry Horse.
12:39 p.m. A llama that had wandered away from home was found on Smalls Lane.
1:34 p.m. A Kalispell man reported that his soon-to-be ex-wife took his van.
5:09 p.m. Someone found a bag full of brown stuff on Palmer Drive.
TUESDAY 9/8
8:13 a.m. A horse was spotted on the side of Aluminum Drive.
10 a.m. A woman on Park Avenue re- ported that the neighbor’s chickens are constantly at her house, tempting her dogs.
12:25 p.m. A woman riding her bike down East Lakeshore Drive reported that someone shot her in the shoulder with a pellet gun. She doesn’t know who would have done this or why.
2:36 p.m. A resident on Margrethe Road complained that a man in a white truck continues to speed, de- spite being told to slow down.
3:13 p.m. A California man claimed that the woman he recently married in Mexico was now being held at her mother’s house against her will. A deputy found the woman to be content with her living situation.
4:18 p.m. A man attempting to cross East Second Street reported that someone in a white sedan just blew through the crosswalk.
10:44 p.m. A woman on Grandview Terrace in Bigfork reported that a black bear chased her through her
yard and into her house. 12:55 a.m. Neighbors got into a
wall-pounding fight over a noise com- plaint.
WEDNESDAY 9/9
10:05 a.m. A man called from Columbia Falls to report that he had just been punched in the face by a bearded man who had road rage. He did not need medical assistance.
10:30 a.m. A lanky fugitive-like man was spotted “crawling” out of his pickup in front of a saloon in Hungry Horse. A deputy determined that he was not a fugitive.
10:39 a.m. A wayward border collie on Cheery Lynn Road was picked up and taken to the animal shelter.
11:06 a.m. A Hungry Horse woman found her runaway husky.
11:23 a.m. A man who was riding his bike down Collier Lane claimed that a resident there ran out into his yard and yelled that he was going to kill the bicyclist and bury him in his back- yard. Apparently, the resident was concerned due to recent thefts.
1:35 p.m. A Lakeside resident found a friendly peacock in his yard.
4:35 p.m. A Kalispell woman claimed that someone attempted to break into her shipping container.
6:05 p.m. A local man reported that $10 and other things had been stolen out of his backpack.
6:54 p.m. A resident on Ridgewood Drive reported that all of his PlaySta- tions had been stolen.
7:47 p.m. A known chicken killer was spotted on Lindsey Road.
THURSDAY 9/10
1:56 p.m. At least 15 gunshots were heard behind the old Walmart in Ev- ergreen.
2:24 p.m. A sow and her two cubs were seen ambling about near Highway 93 South.
2:28 p.m. Someone ran off with a Drag- on Boat banner from a Lakeside loca- tion.
2:54 p.m. An erratic female driver was seen “popping” up and down in her seat as she swerved down Main Street in Kalispell.
5:47 p.m. Bears were wandering around back and forth across Highway 93 South near Whitefish.
7:15 p.m. A “huge explosion” followed by a puff of suspicious white smoke was heard on Swan River Road.
2:12 a.m. A resident on Harmony Road heard someone, or something, outside banging on trees with a stick.
