WHITEFISH COMMUNITY FOUNDATION & GREAT FISH CHALLENGE
THE WHITEFISH COMMUNITY FOUNDATION’S GREATFISH CHALLENGE raised $30,505.00 for the White sh Sports Facility Foundation, who has taken over management of the Stumptown
Ice den. In addition to this grant, WSFF also received a $20,000.00 special grant through the White sh Community Foundation’s Major Grant Program. The Foundation looks for large capital projects in the Community that are making an impact and chose the Stumptown Ice Den. An Additional $15,000.00 also came from the Krummholz Fund, a donor advised fund at the Community Foundation which Joe and Cindy Gregory are the advisors. Joe and Cindy expressed an interest in the Ice Rink project and when they heard about the major grant, they decided to help make it a bigger impact. The Ironhorse Foundation also donates money to make the Muldown Skating Curriculum a possibility each year.
WSFF and the entire Ice Den Community want to thank the Community Foundation and the Community for donations that help keep the facility running and keep ice fees lower for all the patrons.
